Nice couch. I had to use safety pins on the left side of section A because the zipper was damaged. The arm rest was in that section but it wasnt zipped up.
After reading all of the reviews (good bad), I decided to move forward with this purchase and we are super happy with this! It meets all of my need and I have no regrets.
It does sit low to the ground; right around 14 inches from the ground to the top of the seat. My traditional sofas both come in right at 18 and 19 inches from the ground to the top of the seat.
This is firmer than most sofas I have ever sat on but it does feel sturdy.
Bonus: shipping was a few days earlier than originally expected!
My purpose for this sofa/futon is a place for my spouse and kiddos to come hang for a minute while I am working and a backup sleeping place, just in case
I love this sofa/futon and the golden color, it brightens my living room! For the price this is classy modern, roomy, and easy to put together/disassemble to move.

As IT MAY LOOK GOOD ITS NOT COMFORTABLE!! Been about three months and seat area of couchthe cushions are already very thin, feel the springs very bad.
The seat of this couch is surrounded by a wooden frame and cushion springs in the middle its very uncomfortable as you siteither you sit way back and sit on the wooden frame or slip forward onto the springs. Either way it kills my back and is so uncomfortable! Mind you Im only 100lbs. Wish could return but windows closed. Ugh waste of money I need a new couch now.
The futon wasnt difficult to assemble. The directions were excellent but one of the nuts was defective and a few of the drilled holes were splintered. The futon looks good, however, it is not comfortable. It is rigid and has very little cushioning.
Its not a small piece of furniture. Im 53 and I can stretch out on it. But I dont nap on it. Its just not soft enough.
Took me an hour and a half to assemble as Im not handy what so ever. I was pleasantly surprised for the quality of the product considering the couch only cost 300. I prefer firmer couches so comfort of this couch perfect for me. Additionally, it looks fabulous with the mid century style I was going for. The couch doesnt necessarily seat cushions like most couches so I find this couch super comfortable to lay on as there is no lumps or bumps. Very happy with this purchase.

Color is not pale gray
Color is an off white with a green tint. Has a chemical smell. Pretty wood legs though.
