This product is great. And it was my fault for not looking at the dimensions. That being said, this product is 55 long total. There are no arms so if you are buying this as an extra sleeping couch, your guests legs will most likely hang off the end. I bought this to go in my office so my mother would have a bed when she visited. She is 58. She did not complain, but I could tell she was uncomfortable. Overall this is a great product and really well built. Its just smaller than I was hoping it would be. Pretty sturdy. Good size.
This is a super uncomfortable couch and a worse futon. Do you hate someone? Is your mother/in/law coming to stay and you want her there as short of a time as possible? THEN THIS COUCH IS FOR YOU.
It was easier to sleep when the futon was in the couch mode then in the bed mode. the middle of the bed was awkward to sleep on. It may be better with a foam pad between the futon and the sheets when sleeping, but not sure. Not so bad.
