First of all, please be aware this bed is much much darker in person than in the picture. The color of the wood is dark gray/brown. If youre looking for something with honey/ red tones/ this isnt what you want! Initially I was disappointed with the color as I had a specific look I was aiming for, but didnt want to have to coordinate a return. Once we started building this unit/ I have to stay its top quality. The solid wood is beautiful, there are no compressed wood or MDF elements in here. The construction is solid. It took 3 people about 30 mins to put this entire bed together. The instructions are very clear and all the tools and screws are included and clearly labeled for easy assembly. got it right with this one. Satisfied.
Took about an hour and a half to assemble but was straight forward. I was hesitant to buy due to the reviews with broken parts. It seems 100 sturdy but did have one messed up spot (not worth sending back and doesnt show with comforter on). Its very nice looking and wasnt expensive (comparably). My only complaint is the headboard is super short (and doesnt look short in the pics in the add). We got the 14 inch mattress with it and you cant even see it with the pillows up. That makes no sense. Why wouldnt they have made it normal sized??? Its also a bummer they dont have any matching pieces like a nightstand/dresser. Simple and does the job.
Bed frame is beautiful but it came in damaged. The struts behind the headboard are screwed in from the back and barely have any thread engagement. One of the struts that attaches to a leg on the side was ripped out in the packaging. I was able to fix with some glue and clamps. Recommend redesigning this. recommend!
It was pretty easy to put together. I got the King. I felt it was reasonably sturdy, but since my cat hand out under it, I did add some reinforcements. Good product. Good.

Sturdy, nice looking, headboard too short
