Assembly was extremely easy, it took my husband and I less than 15 minutes to be done with both were using them in a family room as a designated homework seating area and our 17 12 years old love them. Buy It.
The chairs are comfortable and adjust easily. One came with a slightly scratched base, and they feel a little wobbly, but they are conferrable and when you sit they do feel sturdy. Id say you get a little more than what you pay for, but remember that for the price you can only go so far in quality. Very compact.
Very nice product, dont be fooled by the price. Obviously nobodys expecting calfskin at this price point, but Im happy to have my guests sit on these with no remorse. Comfortable, easy assembly, good packaging, and the pneumatic function works beautifully. Recommend! Very nice product!
You just cant beat the price and simplicity of these bar chairs! Quality is very good and they assemble effortlessly.
Like most people on here I read the reviews first and most, if not all of what people said are due to errors in assembly.
1) The leaning chair issue. The bottom of the chair is slightly curved to contour to your rear end and the mounting plate of the stand is flat. All four bolts must be tightened evenly to avoid this problem. If one side is tightened more than the other the chair will lean left or right. If this happens loosen the bolts on the side that is leaning and tighten the bolts on the opposite side. Easy fix!!
2) The built in nuts on the chair strip easily. If this is happening then you are severely over tightening the bolts. The bolts have self locking nubs on the undersides of them so snugging Them up is all that is necessary.
3) Inserting the lift strut with the protective shipping cap still on the end. It says in the directions to remove this before installation. However, if you happen to do this and you followed the steps in number two and did not over tighten the bolts removing them to get the cap out is a non/issue.
I have 4 kids ranging in age from 2 to 12 and the ability to keep each bar chair at a different height is absolutely fantastic. Spills wipe right off, kids have tipped them over on the tile floor, no problems at all! Will be ordering more.
You really cant beat these for the price. There are only 4 screws in order to assemble each one, and all of the pieces are surprisingly heavy duty; especially the seats. They feel dense and with some weight to them, which is nice. Its hard to be displeased considering theyre so affordable, but I was genuinely surprised with how well theyre built. Very happy.

Theyre sturdy and you cant beat the price for two of them
