This is perfect for a bookcase or the sort, but is far too narrow to be considered a media cabinet. It hardly fits any electronic equipment besides my Nintendo Wi. Its a nice design though.
I got this cabinet to put in my office and I actually put DVDs in it. But it can be used for any kind of items. The wood and finish are beautiful and its well worth buying. I love it!!! Do not buy it you will regret it
A little tricky to put together although part of it was our own fault as we put the bottom shelf on upside down and had to disassemble. You seldom see this quality and REAL wood in this price range. We use it to store wine and bar glasses and it was roomier than we imagined. We would definitely recommend it and love the color and style. We are very pleased with our purchase. You wont be dissatisfied
Easy to assemble, had it together in 45 minutes. There were a couple of minor digs on the top and some sloppy wood repairs by manufacturer. No big deal for the price. This is the second Simpli Home product I have purchased. You get what you pay for
I purchased your Bedford/Freemont/Hampton Low Storage Cabinet Item 3AXCBED/03 from . I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how well it went together and even more thrilled that all the parts were actually in the package w/a couple of extras. Item was well packaged with no damage to any parts.
Intended use is for this cabinet is for liquor and extra glasses! Sturdy enough to hold weight of bottles.
My issue is that when I went to put on the doors, The one door has a a couple of blemishes / more specifically knots in the wood that the stain did not take well to.I feel this is a quality control issue. If it was on the inside of the door, it wouldnt matter but its right on the front where it can been seen right away.
I contacted the company and they responded immediately. They will replace the doors but it will take a few weeks / said I would wait as I really liked the product. I will update my review as soon as the doors arrive. Great,Happy with it
Assembly took under an hour. Some of the instructions were not as clear as they could have been, which resulted in undoing a couple of steps when we realized that something was direction/specific, although the instructions had not mentioned that. Some of the screw indentations were off by a couple mm. You will definitely want an electric drill when assembling this.
Overall, the piece looks nice enough. Its nicer than IKEA, but looks lightweight and not sturdy. The inside dimensions are a good 2 less than the top of the piece, which is what the dimensions on the listing are from. That is important if youre trying to fit any components inside. The doors are slightly crooked, and the unit came with some dings on one of the pieces. Id estimate we have about 100 DVDs in it. There is wasted space in front and above the DVDs, that you cant really do much with, which is unfortunate, because the storage capacity of this is not great. Bottom line, Ill keep it for a few years, but once we move somewhere new, its unlikely that it will come with us. may be returning
