Really decent daybed. Its not fancy but its a nice simple white design. It disassembled easily and reassembles easily. The bottom part slides very nicely too. When trying to put a comforter or bedspread on it that can look weird if its not a cover made for daybeds (slits on the sides). We use this in our guest room and it looked off to me for a long time - until I discovered daybed coverings.
We bought this to use for guests and it doesnt take much space. Family members said it was comfortable. We got a 10 and 8 mattresses for it and they said it was comfortable.
Finally put the bed together, 6 months after ordering it, and am pleased with my purchase. The daybed and trundle are for use in my guest room, mainly for my niece and nephew when they come over.
The package is very heavy, and needed 3 people to carry and maneuver up the stairs and into the room (though the 3rd person probably wasnt much help). There are many many pieces to this set and I made sure to count all of the pieces before assembling (with 2 extra slat spacers -pictured below). I was able to put the bed together by myself, though it wouldve been easier with 2 people for certain steps. The directions are mostly step by step pictures with a small description in words which was surprisingly easy to understand. I did wish more of the actual parts were labeled so I wasnt second guessing myself, but it wasnt that much of a hindrance. There are separate tool sets for the daybed and the trundle, so be sure you have the correct one to start, because both sets are labeled with 1-3. It is pretty time consuming to put both beds together. Alone, it took maybe 2 hours. The longest part is putting on the slat spacers.
It is probably going to be difficult to take the bed apart when I move. Each slat is locked in with a plastic plug that will be difficult to remove and probably break. Im hoping I can keep the slats in place and remove the guard rails and posts instead.
The trundle bed was easy to put together and rolls easily in and out from under the bed. I measure about 10 inches from the bottom of the daybed to trundle bed.
Overall, Im happy with my purchase.
If you are searching for a day bed for your in-laws, do not purchase this one. I tried to buy a cheap frame that would squeak all night and sag, but I didnt hear one complaint! We got a wonderful nights sleep! How much did you guys spend on this quality piece of craftsmanship?! Ugh. Thanks a lot, Dorel Home Furnishings, for producing a bed that my wifes mother thinks would be better than staying at a hotel out in town...

Very nice frame and trundle. Very simple to assemble. Between myself and my wife we had it ready within 2 hours.
