My box came damaged and had some dings on the . Luckily I was able to cover the damage with a support piece provided. I also ordered a gray one and got a grain instead. Which wasnt even an option when I ordered. I like the color so I guess I lucked out there. Overall the bed was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. Took me about an hour to put together. Youll need some tools of your own to get it done that fast. The tools provided would take forever. They dont include all the tools for assembly. Youll need a philips head screwdriver. Although you should have one of those anyway. Great value for the price. Id recommend this bed for sure. My kids love it. Best for price.
Its a sturdy bed, i just dont like the bottom slates for the mattresses are not smoothen, it needs a little sanding, could cause splinters on kids. They move about touch everything that seems odd and interesting..so i wish I dont have to worry about them getting splinters. And.. do not use 12 inch matress ! Perfect.

I bought this for my 2 and (almost) 5 year old. I know the recommendation is for 6+ on the top bunk but we didnt have the space for a twin and a toddler bed. This bed is perfect at their ages. The top isnt so high that I worry about my older son and the bottom is nice and low for my toddler. We put a crib mattress next to it just in case either of them rolled out but 2 weeks in and theyre both doing great.
It was easy enough for my 13 year old son and I to build in an afternoon and I have mobility problems so thats saying something!
I also love that I can grab on to it to get off the floor and it doesnt even move or creak so its easy to sneak out when theyre asleep
Another feature I wouldnt have thought about previously is that the slats are vertical. My older kids had beds that had horizontal slats and they all broke over time with kids jumping and climbing on them. These seem like theyll be stronger. One of my best buys.
Got these for our 45 year olds. So sturdy. I love that it sits on the floor so its not a far drop god forbid one falls off goofing around This is really easy to assemble and pretty sturdy.
