This product is maybe the worst thing Ive ever bought on . The assembly is a huge headache. Ive been working on it for almost two hours and have no finished product. The welding is all off so it makes putting the base on near impossible. Im gonna give it one more go with my partner, but I see a return in the near future.
I am pleased with the aesthetic of this product, however, the quality is quite disappointing. I have had the set for less than a month and it is already chipping around the edges. I expected more after reading the reviews. To be fair, my family does prop their feet up on the coffee table at times, but the damage is on the end tables and tops of tables as well (see pictures). I will likely have to replace these in a year or two. The tables are sturdy and look very nice despite the damage, however, I would recommend spending a bit more money and getting a higher quality product. Beyond that, the tables were extremely difficult to assemble, even for my husband who is a carpenter. Be sure to keep all the screws very loose before attaching the final piece.
Looks decent but the particle board material is really delicate. The tops themselves are very very light and feel poorly made. Definitely not good for a house with children or pets. Part of the coffee table was already chipping off and I had to superglue it back on. Its okay for a starter living room set but definitely not a set that will last for years.
This 3 piece set is easy to assemble and gorgeous!
I was lucky enough to receive all the pieces undamaged.
You will have a ton of cleanup afterwards with all the styrofoam but its all worth it.
You are going to have to screw in all the legs yourself but its easy.
The small legs goes on the coffee table while the tall legs go on the side tables.
I put the side tables in my bedroom because I dont need a lot of tables in my living room.
Its gorgeous and very affordable.
To start off, I like the look of this product and it seems to be very sturdy once assembled but I have only had it for a short time (at the time of this review)
Now here comes the bad part and why this even made me write a review in the first place
The assembly of this product is an absolute nightmare.
I thought to myself after opening the boxes and beginning to assemble the table and end tables:
/ Maybe I am doing something wrong, perhaps I have the legs I am putting together backwards
/ Maybe it is just not intuitive to me, I must be missing something
But then it clicked
After meticulous review of the instructions for the 20th or so time I was in fact putting the legs on correctly, and for some reason they were colliding with each other and out of place.
That sad reason was the very poor craftsmanship of the welds that were holding the brackets to the rest of the leg.
What I mean by that is the angle in which the bracket was mounted to the leg of the table meant that they were in all sorts of the wrong positions, which of course causes a large problem, putting the base of the table together with the legs
And now for the capstone of the problems with assembly:
When it came time to put the base of the table there was a big issue (the supporting box you can see in the main picture for this product). I now was faced with stretching, bending, and re/aligning the legs and brackets by pulling HARD on them to straighten them to the point in which I could actually maneuver the support to where it should be and finish assembly. When I say I had to pull hard, I mean that I, a 200 lb person, who goes to the gym often enough, had to literally stand on the underside of the table and pull HARD on the leg to straighten it to where it would fit. If you happen to be someone like me or has someone assemble this for you, go nuts, this product is the one potentially for you, but that hassle was completely unexpected and is in no way shape or form should have been that hard.
To wrap up my complains in a sentence about this product: it doesnt look half bad and seems to be durable enough, but the assembly is absolute trash and the quality of the welds on the mounting brackets was done by a toddler.
The tables are very study and gorgeous. Not too heavy and not to big. The directions however were a little difficult to rad at first, but after a couple of trial and errors, we got the hang of it. Overall its a very nice set and the color will go with a lot of furniture in a home.
