My son grew out of his toddler bed, so we went looking for a loft for him. With COVID/19, lots of places were closed or out of stock on good lofts. So, I spent many hours researching the best loft and eventually spent almost 500 on this one because of the stairs! I do NOT recommend this loft. I would like to return this but after spending 3 hours on assembling it, we have no choice but to keep it. Basically, difficult and frustratiing to assemble. When you finish, the product is disappointing! Im 8 months pregnant and was able to wobble it with little effort.
CONS:
/ it took 3 guys 3 hours to assemble this
/ screws were NOT labeled
/ parts were mislabeled
/ instructions were ALL in drawing, so you had to guess where each part went and which screw to use
/ VERY VERY VERY wobbly (see my video) and it squeaks
/ thin legs that hold the entire loft up
/ thin slats (I read this in the review, so I bought a bunkie board).
Overall this bed is a well engineered bed, seems to be perfectly fine for a small child however I would not recommend getting anywhere close to weight. Legs are smaller than 2x4 and held together with m6 bolts (2 per leg). You will get a bag of bolts, screws and dowels. Screws, bolts, washers are all different sizes and nothing is labelled whatsoever. The majority of the time putting together will be sorting the hardware box. They bothered to assign part numbers to the various screws and bolts but they mean nothing, as once again, nothing is labelled. One of the bottom bracing boards was cracked down the middle that was part of the staircase so I had to make my own due to once wooden dowel was slid in, it split right in half. Other than these factors overall it was a decent frame. At this price point one could expect some hardware to be labelled instead of thrown loosely in a bag. Simple and does the job.
Ive was looking at loft beds for weeks to gift to my daughter for her third birthday. When I found this I was very happy. It was a reasonable price point and had great reviews. It came on time and we put it together last night. I love the look and how much room my daughter has in her room now. She loves it too! She hugged and thanked my husband a million times for putting it together. My only complaint is is that though it seems very sturdy is that it already has a crack in the wood and only my small three year old has been on it. I didnt notice it last night but if you have a larger child it probably would not be a good fit for you. recommend!
I love this bed so much and so does my daughter. She has wanted a loft bed with a slide for a while, so we splurged for her bday. For reference, she is 8. The box came and was very well wrapped in protective materials. You can tell this bed is very well made and is definitely real wood. I did not want to buy something made with pressed wood when looking for a bed for my daughter. I had another person build this with me and it does take some time to put together, but that is to be expected. I am really happy with this purchase!!! Built strong.
We liked that it gives our daughter a place to put some of her toys and have a little hang out area. It did have a paint smell for a few days and the slide is not only steep it has a part that sticks out a the very end and it hard on her feet if we are not there to catch her. We do like this bed overall and we put one of the memory foam type mattresses on it and it has not been an issue for us. I Love it.
Overall great bed but has a couple problems. The rail that ladder screws into cracked when putting the screws in. Also, the ladder brackets bend and the screws popped out when my 6 year old daughter tried to lift the ladder away from the bed. Besides the issues with the ladder, its a great bed an i would buy it again. Perfect.
Seems sturdy. I like the support bar. Looks nice. My husband put it together by himself in about an hour. Will update if anything changes. Easy assembly.

The slide is a little steep and it stinks for the first couple days, our daughter loves her bed.
