It took my husband about an hour and a half to build. We didnt have too many issues except we had a hard time getting the screws in for the rails (only spots without precut holes) and the wood is pretty soft. We had a dent in one piece before we even finished and we were trying to be really careful but thats on us. My son loves it and loves making forts under it. Not so bad.
Overall, this is a nice bed, but getting all the pieces was a pain. I had to order a replacement because several pieces were cracked and werent usable. The bed is pine instead of oak, so I you trade sturdiness for a lighter weight.
I was able to assemble it by myself, which was nice, but I feel I need to add supports because the slats bend more than they should.
I wish I had purchased either a bed or oak instead. Its a cute looking bed, but Id prefer safety over looks. Its fine.
My toddler loves her big girl bed! My only complaint is the lack of thought in the design of the ladder / that second step is in the worst possible spot making it difficult to climb and little toes get stuck (look at the product photo, youll see what I mean). Not a deal breaker and still a great bed for the money. My son loves it!!
Pretty easy to assemble. Very cute, sturdy bed for a toddler/ older child. Im sure my girls will outgrow this eventually, but it is nice for a 3year old. Very well made.
Great value for the money ! Would have given it a perfect review if it werent for one step that should have been earlier in directions. The two 18 numbered rails should have been included in Step 7 instead of Step 9 but everything else was fine. I was concerned about damaged or missing parts but my shipment was in excellent condition. This item is good! Satisfied.
After finally getting the bed assembled, it seems sturdy enough. I bought two beds and BOTH packages were missing major parts. I was able to contact customer service and they sent replacement parts, which took about a week to arrive.
Assembly is do/able but the engineering is not user/friendly to say the least! It takes two people to assemble if you dont want to crack or break anything in the process.
All in all, youre getting what you pay for I suppose. I paid 258 on sale. I see that they are currently priced at 420 which is way too high in my opinion. For that kind of money youre better off going with a company like Ikea. Good find!!
Great bed/ but some of the wood was broken when we opened it up. The small groove where the headboard fits in was broken on the top and bottom. This could potentially make the headboard not secure. We used wood glue to put it back together/ looks ok now but I question how secure it really is when my child leans back on it. Seller contacted about this. Great storage option.

Great bed, except for one flaw

Be prepared to request missing parts

Worth the Money
Excellent Well made and packaged.
Good bed/ pieces broken in shipping though
