This bike has not disappointed! I am an older guy and this bike rides well and is easy to get on. One of my friends has bought one and another will buy soon. We have been riding together and carry them on our rvs.
Im simply obsessed! Its everything I wanted and more. More as in I can charge my phone!! Its everything it promises it will be. The only thing I think this bike could improve on is 1/ being able to keep it closed and secure (it folds but theres no way to secure it on its own) Other than that happy as can be!
I havent had it long enough to tell you what I dont like but I do like the fact that its easy to put together and I will be using it for simple pleasure I had bought a different bike for 1600 and I brought it back the next day because it just didnt hold up to my expectations at this particular bike is more suitable for me and by the way I will be 80 next year and thats not gonna stop me from riding bikes thanks

These s are fantastic especially if you are Rving, we took ours to Fort Wilderness and you ether need one of these or rent a golf cart to get around, We are permanent RVers and these bikes are a great way to explore the area each time we move plus we can fold them up and store them inside the RV
What I didnt like that it was not water proof and you cant use the back light as a turning signal lights. The engine is a bid week when you go up hills. The battery lasting is also little bit exaggerated.
Overall is a good bike.
I ordered this bike based in part on a video by Jeremiah MacIntosh. Id had a Lectric 2.0 on order and was not happy about the wait times and delays. I was also a little reluctant given the battery size on that bike.
After I contacted with some questions (and got a very speedy reply) I decided that Id order the . It arrived ahead of schedule.
The only assembly required was inserting and adjusting the handlebar stem, and of course the seat and pedals. It took a bit of jiggling to get the battery to seat right on the socket, but other than that the bike was ready to ride in less than 15 minutes.
The bike is very well built and of surprisingly high quality for the price. I weigh around 300 lbs and this bike handles my weight quite well, with no creaking or other signs of frame flex/strain. The motor has plenty of torque to get me around at speeds I am comfortable with, both with pedal assist and throttle only. The throttle is not on demand: you have to switch to PAS 0 for the throttle to work. Thats not a big deal for me, as my other ebike is the same way. It sort of gives an infinite PAS because you can pedal the bike and use the throttle only as much as you want or need.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the seat. Many bikes in this price range offer a very basic (and uncomfortable) saddle. The one on the is a nicely padded (memory foam) saddle that is a bit wider and is spring loaded, which combines with the suspension seat post (another value point). Per the recommendation of support, I locked out the front fork suspension (it has both lockout and preload adjustment) due to my weight, but the 4 tires absorb bumps so much I dont think the front suspension would be needed except on very rough terrain/pavement.
Out of the box, the brakes work very well, with no squealing, another pleasant surprise. Even the headlight is a step up compared to most other bikes in this price range, and it has an actual tail lamp instead of just a rear reflector.
The battery was a major selling point for me. 48V 12.5 AH is a lot of battery for this price range. Not only does it give the motor some excellent acceleration, but the range is impressive. Ive done nearly 15 miles combined PAS and throttle only and the controller shows 3 out of 5 bars left.
The only downside is the manual. Its got some incorrect information about weight limit and doesnt explain how to make all the adjustments in the controller. Jeremiah MacIntosh has an initial review video on youtube that gives a good explanation.
This is my first electric power bike and I am happy with the purchase. Have used it on and off pavement and it is rugged and comfortable to ride. Fold up feature is great for traveling . Assembly was simple and it is well made for a bike under 1K. Im a senior and use it for exercise and touring the area. Well worth the price imo.

Liked everything about bike except not being waterproof. Did not state that in advertising the bike. Its supposed to be all terrain?
