I really like this bed. Perfect fit for my 3 year old. I love the color and the bed it pretty heavy which is perfect because I dont want him to be able to push the bed across the floor. One of the knobs kept coming off but nothing a little glue cant fix.
This is a nice, sturdy bed we bought for our 3 1/2 year old as an upgrade from his toddler bed. It matches a small dresser we had bought for him a couple years ago from one of the big name furniture companies (which cost more than this bed did). If we had bought the matching bed, it would have cost us almost three times what this bed did. Based on some of the other reviews, I had prepared myself for a three hour assembly. But my son and I managed to put it together in less than an hour and a half, which includes the extra time required for him to help me with his little plastic tools. I think the trick was that we took about 15 minutes before we got started to lay out all the parts in a logical manner in the hall outside my sons room. The bed was easy enough to move into place on the hardwood floors in my sons room. I could see how it might be difficult on a thick carpet, as the bed is quite hefty. The bed is sturdy and looks good but the drawers are of questionable durability. They are good for holding sheets and blankets and a few toys, but if we plan on putting more than that inside the drawers, I plan to add reinforcing slats to the bottoms, an easy enough fix. Overall, were extremely pleased with the bed and our son is extremely proud of his big boy bed!
This bed is about what you would expect for $150. Be prepared. This thing comes in a zillion pieces. Once you get the hang of it things speed up. I am reasonably handy and it took me a couple of hours. If you dont like mechanical tasks, you may be frustrated. The bed is sturdy but the drawers are flimsy.
I would likely think twice about buying this product again.
True to color. So comfortable. I realized after moving the bed 4 times its best to have an idea of where to place it. It is huge and heavy without the drawers or mattress. All in all my 4yr old loves it and its blue. The color brings so much life to the room. Try to be home when the HEAVY bed is delivered in an ackwardly shaped box. The UPS guy had a hard time carrying the box. This item is deserving of a giftcard for the driver.

No directions in boxes. Had to look them up online, and my iPad keeps turning off in between readings so major pain. Parts were very confusing. Boxes were ridiculously heavy. Have to open boxes and bring in piece by piece if dont have two strong people to move them. Major scratches on parts of visible trim from being inside box. Came with marker to fix scratches, but too dark and fine a tip. Only rated for 250lbs which we didnt realize, so cant use as sofa for movie watching without risking breaking it. Took me 6 bleeping hours and a lot of swearing to put together.

I bought this with the matching headboard, and have received a lot of compliments on it. Great product, and not very hard to assemble.
