    Waste of money!!!!!!

Very very hard to put together. Took to much time. Crummy mdf. Never worth the money we paid. 500+. People can buy a real car for that money!!! Waste of time and money!! Waste of money!! Waste of money. This was a nightmare to assemble.

    Great buy! We love it!

I havent used all the storage yet but I love this bed. It looks stylish and lovely. Took a looot of hours for me to do. I started with help but still went almost 4 hours working on it. I finished the bed in another 4/5 or so hours by myself. Very helpful.

Good bed frame, but takes quite some time to build.

First of all, this bed frame when assembled looks great, and is very sturdy. I was surprised when 4 large boxes arrived, however this is part of the process of building the frame. Each section is separated into a different box. Starting at box one, then two, and so on. My wife and I were able to get this built in about 4 hours or so. Having an impact screw gun and a rubber mallet for assembly is something I would recommend. Be careful not to strip out any of the pine with the screws. Very nice product!

Its a two person job. I could have never figured this out without my husband. Well made. It was just what I wanted.

Well designed. excellent instructions. 2 days to assemble from many parts

I was impressed from the arrival of the 4 boxes without any damage and no missing parts. Assembled easily but definitely required a lot of time due to many parts. Wood quality is similar to IKEA products. The use of plastic dowels made it easy to fit into accurate predrilled holes. size means you either assemble it in the room where it will be placed or, after assembling the major pieces, get through the doorway with the partial frame and complete the assembly in the room; doorway and hallway would not allow moving the entire bed through. And of course, it would require partial disassembly to relocate. Side modules need better angular reinforcement for any movement or they will separate. The plastic dowels and perpendicular abutting dont really handle any uneven movement. Once in place, no problem. Not sure how it would be reachable but a sizable space is left useless in the middle of the bed. Possibly redesigning the foot module storage to contain a long/deep drawer would permit more storage. It remains to be seen after some use (a Novaform mattress is on top) whether a lack of center reinforcement will cause sagging or discomfort. Very happy.

    a little creaky but works

My man complained the whole entire time while putting it together he is a carpenter till finally I said either stop complaining or build me a bed. A little bit annoying to assemble but lots of pieces always are. In general I do like the bed I do believe that there could be more slats for supporting the mattress I ended up adding plywood. For scale I weigh 150 lb and my man weighs 180. I have wood floors so I added some extra felt protectors on the bottom now the bed tends to scoot across the floor which is a pain but the floor is safe from scratches though so kind of a pain. The storage on the outer shelves and drawers is decent I cant imagine using the storage underneath the bed because you have to move the mattress amd all the slats anytime you want to get to it I am not that much of a hoarder. If I can make a change to it I would reduce the underneath the bed to make the side compartments bigger I was able to barely fit two king size quilts on one side. The other minor detail is you have to tuck in all your bedding if you want the frame to be a display otherwise your blanket on top well semi obscure it making it harder to get stuff out of the drawers and shelves Well built!!

    Difficult assembly

Im sure this will be beautiful as the wood is nice, but my dad is a handy guy and hes having THE hardest time assembling it. Unlabeled pieces, unclear instructions/illustrations, etc. He keeps asking where I got it. Im hoping we wont have to call the company for replacement pieces or clarification. Money good to have.

Full day assembly, but worth the investment

Tl;DR: Pros: Sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, ample storage. holds a lot of weight Cons: Not all pieces labelled, estimated time to completion is grossly underestimated. For two people who were being meticulous about re/labeling and planning out pieces to assemble, and who are experienced with a power drill, it took roughly 8/10 hours for the king size. This behemoth has 315 screws. But we had planned to take an entire day for assembly, so we werent unprepared. The individual steps arent that difficult to follow, even with pieces being unlabeled, its just that theres 54 steps to get this thing set up (hence the 3/5 easy to assemble rating), which isnt a criticism. It makes sense with all the nooks and shelves and drawers. Just be aware of what youre getting into and plan accordingly. This bed feels VERY sturdy / with a mattress of about 150 pounds, two people totaling about 600 pounds, and several cats/dog, it isnt wobbly at all and feels very solid. It appears to all be solid pine. All in all, Im very satisfied with this bed frame, and glad I made the purchase. Value.
