Once assembled, this is a good looking, fine cabinet. Im generally happy with it. Heres some great info, tips, and tricks for any perspective buyer:
BUYING and SHIPPING:
I ordered the cabinet on the 9th of May. The cart advised me that it would be delivered between May 13th and 23rd. I checked on the status almost daily and observed that it did not ship till May 22nd, when it was over/nighted. Even though it was over/nighted, I did not receive it till May 26th.
ASSEMBLY:
Im an average 52 year old guy. Could I lose a few pounds? Sure. Am I handy? Sure, but Im not the guy thats gonna build a shed or anything. Still, I assembled this myself with no confusion, and only one self/inflicted problem. Follow these tips and you should have earth/shattering success:
1st / TAKE YOUR TIME: This thing comes in a billion parts, so set aside about 90 minutes.
2nd / LAY OUT AND INVENTORY YOUR PARTS: Every bag of screws, nails, hinges, stickers, and shelf pegs is numbered. Every door, panel, shelf, and trim piece is lettered. The letters and numbers correspond perfectly to the VERY GOOD directions, so lay the stuff out neatly and prepare yourself for success from the git go. Speaking of directions
3rd / FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS: The cabinet comes with a very good set of directions. If youre missing it, dont try to assemble it unless you have a degree in engineering. I found the directions humorous, as there are little hidden bits of advice within them such as at Step 6 which say, Now may be a good time to refresh your drink. If you get stumped, there is info in the directions that provides you links to a video tutorial.
4th / USE ONLY THE TOOLS NEEDED: All you need is a Phillips head screwdriver and a hammer. Everything is nicely pre/drilled for you. I made the mistake of using my drill/driver thinking Id zip it all together and I think my third screw split a board. Luckily, it was inconsequential, as the mistake cannot be seen at all once assembled because it was on the inner floor skirt. The lesson is that you need the feel of a hand screwdriver to prevent such a mishap. Its a lot of screwing, but it goes together very very easily.
As you recall, my first issue with the product was the bizarre shipping / late arrival. During these COVID/19 times, I can let that slide. But / I was also missing three out of the four pads (Kinda like the felt furniture pads) that go on the bottom of the cabinet. Ill call the company today and see what they say. Alsoyou get the exact, exact number of everything you need to put the thing together. Lose one tiny screw or nail and youll be off to your garage, shed, basement, or local hardware store looking for a new one. For this reason, Id really suggest setting this up indoors, in a well lit area. Maybe Im too tough, but the shipping, missing parts, and stingyness of parts lost it a star.
So now it sits nicely in a little lakeside hunting/fishing cabin on a porch. Id certainly recommend it for the price. beautiful.
Definitely use the safety strap! Especially if you have children . The magnets are super strong and when trying to open the door , you could pull the whole cabinet over . BUT it is Very spacious . I bought it for my husband and he loves the depth on it. Its definitely not a skinny little cabinet. But the structure and material is quite flemzy. Over all Im more satisfied, than not. Just fine.
This cabinet it beautiful in appearance just a little flimsy. I put it together with my dad. It was a lot of screws but everything was labeled from the screws to the pieces of furniture so it wasnt that tough. Getting the doors lined up was the toughest part but we managed after messing with it for 20 minutes. Im glad I bought it, great price. Definitely worth it.

The top shelf is the only one that goes all the way across.
This cabinet was perfect in my garage! I was able to eliminate an open shelf and make my garage look a lot more organized! Good one.
