Solidly built with almost all real wood. Only exception is the bottom of chest which is not visible, is a solid piece of some pressed board.
Good value for the money. Put the pets in the crate when youre putting this together.
I have purchased a lot of assembly-required furniture in the last couple of years, and I have to say...Im shocked. This thing is made mostly of solid wood! And it was packaged with a 3/4 layer of foam all around it, no problems whatsoever! People are knit-picking about a little debris in screw holes?! This is one of the cheapest hall trees available, and I had no issues assembing it alone while watching a couple tv shows. Directions are clear and easy to follow, and unless those who question the stability of this completely botched the assembly, I cant imagine what they are talking about. Easily supports 400 lbs on the bench. As with most things, sometimes you just get a lemon...but based on what I saw, its very unlikely unless they drop the box out of an airplane before it gets to you...
Price is great. Item looks great, not too hard to assemble. A week after use one of the hinges came out of place and the particular board where the screws were started to crumble a bit. We used wood glue and recrewed it back in place. Has been fine since.
Easy to build and looks nice. Sturdy construction and lots of storage. We use the hooks for the kids backpacks and the bins for shoes. Highly recommend.
This was exactly what we were looking for. We needed a place to store our jackets along with bags from the day. This worked out perfectly in keeping everything organized.

Hinges are a joke!
So the hinges we received ripped the lid, they do not work! We followed the instructions and now we have a destroyed hall tree.
