We had two cats using two litter boxes, and they were little oases of smell. We were going to get one of these boxes and try it out but surprisingly both cats took to it right away and ignored the open box one. Perhaps they like privacy too? And no smell comes out. Also it looks like a piece of furniture. It takes a little thinking to put together but, like anything else, the second time you did it it would be a breeze.
I hated looking at my cats litter box and this cabinet works perfectly to cover it discretely while still having it in the room. My cats litter box is a little tight fitting so it sticks out the doorway a little. The door is a little flimsy but does its job. The only complaint I have is that do not let any water or animal urine rest on it. It will bubble in that space and never go away. But it is the same color inside which is nice sense of thoroughness in the design rather than it being plywood board on the inside.
I didnt realize there there are absolutely no litter pans anywhere with the dimensions to fit this cat enclosure. We had to get one considerably smaller and our cats urine ended up outside the litter pan. This wouldnt do because it will smell and destroy the little house. We lined the bottom with a large garbage bag, put the litter pan on top of that, folded the front of the bag up to the level of the door and filled that with clumping litter. This fix solves our problem and we like the size of the enclosure. They should include a litter pan of the correct size.

This was a great buy! My only complaint is I wish there was a bigger option. A little small for my one big guy.
