Extremely easy to assemble, just slide the back rest into place and its done, literally seconds
Recliner footrest is definitely hard to put back into place. Not a deal breaker but annoying enough that it turns the process of reclining into ordeal
On the plus side, it reclines in two parts, so you can use the footrest with only a few inches between the sofa and a wall. To fully recline horizontally youd need more space, at least a foot or two.
The material is excellent, microfiber leather, which means it looks like leather from a far, but feels like soft microfiber cloth (and doesnt get as hot)
Much better than the fake leather most of these come with, but dont expect it to feel like a normal leather chair either.
The box is too heavy for one person to lift, but can be slid into place, keep that in mind when you order it (have it dropped off near where you want it if you dont have help)
Long term is still in question. This is cheap on the scale of recliners, Im using it as an everyday chair and hoping it lasts a couple of years max.
I dont see it standing up to any sort of abuse like jumping into it, but its also cheap enough that shouldnt have. I suspect if you treat it carefully it will last long enough
Update: Figured out why some reviews say the recliner is fine and some say its too hard!
On hardwood and low carpet the sofa frame will shift just enough to keep the recliner from going in. The legs of the sofa are a very slippery plastic!
Use some furniture grip pads and itll be perfect. Immediately after attaching them the recliner became so easy to use Bless your hearts.
Cannot believe the quality for the price. We absolutely Love these wide chairs. The is so so so soft! The chairs look gorgeous and fit perfectly. I like it.
This is a well/made chair. My mom really likes it and often sleeps in it at night. It is wide enough for her and my daughter to sit and watch TV on. Well worth the purchase.
Overall Im pretty satisfied with this chair. I needed something to add some more seating to my family room; but it had to be in a smaller size range. I looked at a couple of small loveseats and then saw some chair and a halfs and decided to do that route. The chair arrived quickly and took about two minute to assemble. You just slide the back onto the base. Its pretty comable. On the firmer side / but it doesnt feel like you are sitting in a rock. I had to put rubber pads on the bottom of the chair because it tends to slide back when you close the foot rest. Perfect and Sturdy.
It is comable to sleep on. Opens and closes easily. It is comable. I am a larger person and it fits me comably and my cat fits next to me as well. Exactly as Described.
