Purchased this bed for my toddler, its great. Exactly what we were looking for. We are using the frame with a memory foam mattress. We did not purchase a box spring. Frame comes with slats. We were concerned about durability of just using the slats, so my husband put down a piece of plywood, which seems to have increased the stability of the bed. Our little boy can be rambunctious and likes to jump on the bed. Frame sets very low, so he can climb up and down without assistance. Arrived in damaged and was easy for husband to assemble.
This is a temporary bed for our 5 year old and will do the job but the top rail of the head board came damage...the wood is dent/crack! The box didnt show any signs of damage
its a nice looking bed. it takes two to put it together. the instructions are good too. customer service was awesome! one of the boards didnt have the holes drilled in for the pegs to fit in so they sent us a replacement board, free of charge! and delivery of that board was super quick. highly recommend this bed .
Very very sturdy bed. We decided to get our 2 year old a twin bed and skip the toddler bed. This is perfect! It doesnt sit high up and he can get up and down with ease. My husband was very impressed with the quality when putting it together as well.
