I absolutely love this writing desk! I bought it for the purpose of a vanity since I already had a fancy light! Its beautiful. Im not going to lie the instructions are very vague but apparently there is videos on their website. Didnt find that out until after I got it together. Particularly the drawers . definitely see the video! Other than that its perfect for me!
Desk is a nice compact size, is perfect for what I need it for. Very happy with this, but I will say that I was missing a few components so I had to super glue some things but we made it work just fine. I wouldnt let that deter you, it may have been a fluke.
Overall it is an ok desk. The drawers are not the sturdiest so it is 4 stars from me. The bottom panels of the drawers are quite thin so nothing too heavy should go into them. The holes and screws for the drawers were also a tight fit so I needed to glue some things together to strengthen the hold.
Size is good, base is very strong and it does look nice. Directions are not hard, it was very easy to put together just time consuming because there are many parts.
A lovely desk; sturdy with a mid/century feel. Two minor assembly hurdles: ONE: the instructions in one section were inaccurate. The diagram shows the drawer tightening screw on the inside of the drawer; however, it was on the outside. No big deal. TWO: one hole for the drawer front face was too small to accept the necessary hardware. Fortunately, we had a drill and with a bit larger than the hole, we were able to bore it out so that everything worked. Pictures show the tightening screw on the outside of the drawer, and the drill bit necessary to widen the hole. Do not let the glitches deter you from purchasing. Its a great value and very appealing.

wishing it was a bit taller
We have a standard office chair and the desk is a little low for it. Great for a kids desk or small office.
