After about 3 weeks of purchase, I am very happy with the bed frame. I just noticed that it does squeak a little sometimes but overall I didnt have much expectations or wasnt picky about it.
UPDATE: After about a month, the bed starts to squeak a lot every little move I make. It is very annoying and uncomfortable.
The slabs of wood are too long at the end and thus wont fit perfectly throughtout the bed as its too tight of a fit. Bed is already squeaky after a few months.
I was skeptical of this frame as a replacement for a box spring, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is easy to construct and has a simple elegance to it, if you will. The frame is sturdy and supportive. Of note, the horizontal slats that act as the box spring are simply attached to the actual frame using Velcro, but it has held up well thus far. The only thing I subtracted one star for was the overall width of the frame. I have a queen/size memory foam mattress and it is slight wider on one side (LESS than half an inch, but enough for someone with OCD to notice).
Of note: I am 510 and 220 pounds; no issues with size. No issues with intimate activity (sound, etc.).

Works good but it has a creak sound on my side , they shoulda put one more brace in the side, middle. Other then that its a really good frame
