Wood splits in areas after putting screws in, doesnt compromise the connection, just see the splitting. Along with the stickers for assembly removes paint when you take them off. Great value.
This turned out to be the perfect selection for our scenario. This is definitely a two person job (preferably with someone you get along with). Assembly took 3 hours total to complete. Assemble.
The pieces came in a 135 box that was surprisingly (frighteningly?) small. And yes, every single piece had to be connected from its most basic form. But the illustrations were clear and it went together in an afternoon. The cousins loved sharing a room and the frame seems very solid. I really like the angled ladder for young kiddos. Effective.
I would give this a 5 star but putting the bed together was a PAIN IN THE ASS. Literally every piece of this bed comes in parts that you have to put together. Thank god I helped my husband or he would have been drunk by the time this thing was put together. Overall it looks great / but definitely a testy moment for a marriage. Easy as it says.
Wow a lot of pieces looks nice in the room but a lot of individual pieces you have to build everything from the head boards to the foot boards and even the ladder. Takes some time to put together Very sturdy.
The bed was as advertised Im a carpenter by trade and I had to be careful on the assembly not to get ahead of myself but it went together fine, fairly sturdy and my boys like it so I guess overall not to much else to say. would recommend it to others, just take your time assembling it. Cool!!
