Never in my life would I ever think I’d be in love with a bed frame… but here I am. I love this thing so much that I’m leaving a pretty lengthy review.
PRICE:
I’d like to preface my review by stating I would almost never be caught spending this much on a bed frame but after endless research trying to find the same style and not finding anything quite like it, I had to go for this. But boy oh boy is it worth every penny. Here was my biggest gripe. When I purchased this in December of 2021, it cost me about $2000 out the door. This frame was flawless out of the box. Not a scratch, rip, tear, blemish on the entire item. It was a beauty to behold. Though the materials feel really well made, I find it hard to believe I’d ever spend this much on a bed frame off that alone. That’s where the looks came in.
SHIPPING:
It took about 3 (THREE) weeks to arrive.
ASSEMBLY:
At first when it came in 3 (THREE) separate boxes I was overwhelmed because I thought that this was going to take forever to assemble. It wasn’t. If I would’ve been paying attention this would’ve took me and my friend less than an hour to assemble. I found the directions not to be very useful as well so that would’ve saved even more time. As long as you pay close attention, have a drill with the right bit to tighten the bolts, and maybe a second person to help, it shouldn’t take very long. Getting these boxes upstairs to my room was where the real challenge was.
LOOK:
As stated above, when I first saw this beauty, something happened to me for the first time in my 32 year long life: I fell in love with a bed frame. I tried searching high and low for this style of bed frame that borders the mattress in this manner as well as had storage. I couldn’t find anything. So then I tried looking at 10+ other websites to try to find a cheaper one. Didn’t happen either. I couldn’t ever see myself using another bed frame because of the sheer unique design. My friend who helped me put it together couldn’t stop drooling over it and wanted to get one for him and his wife. This thing demands respect as you bask in the shadow of the headboard. It’s so nice that I feel like the current mattress I have is inadequate to pair it with. I’m going to be looking to upgrade that soon as well. Priorities, people.
CONVENIENCE:
Having storage the surrounds the bed is a game changer. We all know that the stuff under our bed, especially the stuff towards the middle in what can be compared to as no man’s land as its unreachable from both sides of the frame, is essentially the adult version of the monster underneath our bed. This storage changes the game completely. It turns monsters into friendly little personal assistants by being so easy to reach, being able to keep many items organized, and serving as multi purpose use by both acting as a storage, a beautiful mattress border, and a bench to help you put socks on when you get up for the day. With the storage in the front of the bed being able to pop up it’s lid without having to remove it (like you have to do for the sides) it makes the perfect place to put just about anything. My wife had the brilliant idea of putting extra pillow cases, fitted sheets, regular sheets, blankets, and comforters. We could even put some towels in there if we wanted to.
OVERALL:
This won’t come as a shock to anyone but for those in the back of the class, I LOVE THIS FRAME! It’s more than an object that holds my mattress, it’s an organizer, eye pleaser, and a room bringing together… er… Congratulations to on designing such a magnificent piece of furniture.
Never bought furniture online without actually seeing it. My husband found it very easy to put together. The quality is excellent, very strong and sturdy. Purchased it for ou summer home and am going to order a set for a second bedroom. Will definitely recommend this product.
Man, this bed is a great value. Looks great. It Will be interesting to see what it looks like long-term, But for the guestroom type use it’s going to get, this was a perfect fit
