We almost sent this product back. It had so many pieces, some of which had defective hardware. The fasteners had been mal-placed and had to be reattached. It was a gift to our daughter, and her husband called us expressing the desire to return it because of its assembly issues. My husband went over armed with additional hardware and screws and was able to assemble it. It would have been a nightmare attempting to repackage it for a return. Besides the mal-positioned fasteners, some of the pre-existing holes had been made too large for the screws assigned to them, so my husband had to substitute his own. Some of the individual pieces were not labeled with identifying letters, so we had to study the pictures to figure out their identity. All this being said, it is a well-designed, beautiful piece of furniture with clear step-by-step directions. If someone at the factory had taken the time to examine the product for defects before shipping, this would have earned a 5-star rating.
This piece was a perfect fit for our entryway! I wish it was a bit taller but we still really love it! It took about 2 hours to put together by myself, and I noticed some of the parts I had were not labeled so it was challenging at first. Definitely would recommend!

Downside is this is difficult to assemble. We had to use our own screws that were considerably longer in order to put some of it together. Two of the holes that had metal threads inside of them to screw into completely stripped and the metal came out of the piece so we had to make due with some other parts.
On another piece the parts that need to lock into place were not straight so would simply not fit into the other piece. Got them straightened out OK.
All in all it is a beautiful piece and reasonably priced. Shipping was very fast.
Very difficult to assemble. Locking parts were on forty five degree instead of ninety until I figured they were wrong and had to modify. Also had to drill a hole for magnets because existing holes didnt line up. It is a good deal for the money except for the darned assembly.
