First the cons.I wasnt sure if I liked it. It has more of a distressed look than anticipated, very vintagey. It also had an odor. I started looking around for wet smelly gym shoes, it smelled like feet! haha., I then realized it was the trunk. I raised the lid and threw in a dozen or so dryer sheets. 2 hours later, the odor had diminished. I think it just needs to air out for a couple of days and it will be fine. Over the course of the day the trunk has grown on me and I am VERY pleased with this purchase. I wanted something that was unique and original without breaking the bank. I didnt want to spend a lot of money but I didnt want it to look like I didnt spend a lot of money. This absolutely fits the bill. I love it now and having the extra storage space for pillows and blankets is wonderful. Im using it for a coffee table and I love the fact that its narrower than the coffee table it replaced. I love space and I dont like bulky furniture. well packaged, no damage, on/time delivery. Im very happy with this purchase.
I like how there was no assembly! It seems like a normal piece of furniture so far, no obvious flaws. The color is nice, just like you see in the picture. There is no back, behind the baskets but it is against something so the doesnt bother me. Seems sturdy enough
Attractive bench, not too sure about the long term quality yet. Arrived without damage and entirely assembled. Two of the baskets had a dirty, dusty film all over them that I washed off by spraying them down in the sink. It seems to be gone now, not sure what it was? Bench is a little bowed in the center, like someone heavy sat on it, so the middle basket doesnt slide out easily because it rubs. Overall, looks nice but isnt a super heavy duty piece of furniture for sure.
It actually came with the one end not attached, nails sticking out as well. Was very disappointed. Dont know if it was when the UPS Delivery guy threw it on the porch or what. But it was loud when he put it there.

Falling apart

Kind of poor quality
Arrived with a scratch on the top and I have no idea what is on the knob. There is also a crooked drawer.
Works well for a simple bench
