Love the tufted sides and modern/traditional wingback style. The leather seems high quality and the color is a dark gray/brown.
Its comfortable, but the seat is firm. It should soften up with time. (Everyone still fights to sit in this chair!) The cushion is attached, which I didnt realize when I purchased. It did have a strong smell after we opened the box, but it subsided within a day or two.
I searched for a long time for the right chair for our cozy library, and Im thrilled with our purchase!
Love these chairs. Very easy to assemble and look great. Found some very similar on West Elm and thought I would give these a whirl since they were half the price. Im very pleased and glad I did. They are also pretty comfortable for a formal accent chair.
I never write reviews but here we are. First of all, this chair was so uncomfortable to sit in that I had to place a cushion on top of the seat just to sit in it. I used this chair as a substitute computer chair due to medical reasons. No strenuous activity happened in this chair nor did it exceed the weight limitation. The gold bands would not stay on the legs, as they fell off after a month or so. While sitting in the chair one leg support completely snapped off the chair and broke while I was sitting in it. The staples came out and the cheap plywood used, split. I have had this chair for 6 months. Completely upset and not to mention hurting from the chair collapsing. Do not recommend for long term use. Nice if its for decoration and never sat in. Horrible for use.

Great looking chair

This is tricky. The hardware is INSIDE THE BOTTOM of the chair. It took me a minutes to find it.
