My husband used these to work on a dock in Florida. He loves them. They are very adjustable so they sizes up perfectly for him. He is a smaller framed man so waders usually hang on him and dont adjust.
My family and live along a river in South Carolina and the area tends to flood certain times of year. We are flooded right now and I ordered these to my husbands job so he had something to walk back to our house in through the flood waters and keep dry. Unfortunately as he started his walk he started to feel like his foot was wet and just hoped he felt the cold winter waters through the boot and his mind was playing tricks. But when he got to the house and took the waders off he poured water out of boot. Super disappointed, especially since they were really needed right now
They do t let water. Do NOT keep you warm but thats the kind I bought m. What I do not like are the boots. They are thin so feet are freezing and very flimsy so make you very unstable in river and by time you get out of water your feet are killing you. Every rock you step on hurts. I would love trade in for another pair through same company.
I havent had a chance to test these out yet, but they make a good first impression. Material seems very tough and durable. The pockets are placed well, not compressed by the belt as in a lot of other brands. Plus the pockets (both inner and outer pockets) have waterproof zippers. The outer pocket is very accessible with the waders on, the inner pocket not so much (due to being pressed up against your chest). Big plus, the inner boot is smooth rubber and I can wear the waders without socks. They are fairly noisy when moving out of water, but hey, waders werent meant for audio stealth, and if youre in deep water anyhow (which is why youre wearing waders in the first place) then there wont be any noise.
