I ordered this ottoman to go with my couch and it is everything I hoped it would be. The extra storage is great. The fact that it turns into a table that works even better than a regular coffee table. Its comfortable to put my feet up and take a nap. It was worth the money and I wish I had bought it sooner.
First, this is a great piece of furniture, well worth the money.
Second, for a 300 item to have a ten cent assembly manual (if you can call it that / 4 pages) with virtually no explanation is unfortunate. There are a couple of things they forgot to mention.
1. The threaded portion of the legs is covered with a plastic cap; not a big deal except mine were covered in black paint which covered up view of the threads and acted like an adhesive making them so hard to remove I wondered If I was supposed to, or if I might damage something by removing them. Just a simple mention to remove these would help.
2. The fold up desk/table has locking brackets on it, not mentioned in the manual. I did not know they were there until I heard them rattling around and thought there was a problem. Again, a little mention in the manual would have helped.
All in all another great product diminished by some genius idea for an instruction manual with few words and no explanations. Hope this helps you save time and I hope the manufacturer pays attention.
Assembly consists of screwing in the 4 legs. This is a beautiful ottoman both stylish and functional! Its a little shinier than depicted but still lovely. I wanted a fabric ottoman but was so glad I went for the when my grandson placed his lollipop right on top. A quick wipe and it was perfect!!

Aming for the price, roomy, nice , and next to zero assembly. Just take it out of box and turn four legs in.
