    Sturdy and worth it!

Oh dear. When I opened the box, I was horrified. There were like 2,000 pieces of random parts that needed to be put together. However, once I pulled out the instructions and started reading, things began to fall into place. I am a 37 year old mom to 4 rambunctious children, and I put this bunk bed together myself, and it took a good 3 hours to do. Once I was finished, I was quite impressed with how it looked, and how sturdy it felt. The kids absolutely love it. My 9 year old sleeps on top, and I love that the rail is tall enough that I don't have to worry about him falling out. The look is clean and uncluttered, and it looks great!

Good value for the price, happy with it.

It was easy to put together, sturdy, and opens up the room. Good value for the price. I noticed it squeaked more when I first put it together than it does now that my son has spent time climbing up and down and laying up there. It seems to have settled so there's less squeaking. I agree with those who say don't tighten completely til you have all pieces in place. I see people commenting about the lack of a space in the end rail at the top of the ladder - my son is 6 and has no trouble climbing up and over the end rail, and I feel it's safer that way. He does scarier climbing on the playground all the time. My son's room is very small and I like the fact that the ladder doesn't stick out. He says it doesn't hurt his feet - but I've seen a hack using pool noodles to cushion bunk bed ladders that would probably work for anyone with that issue. I paired this with a single futon underneath so we can have two kids sleep in the room when needed but can fold it up and have a chair when it's playtime. Overall very happy with this purchase.

    Loving My Loft Bed!

Loving my loft bed!! It took my dad an I about 2 hours to set up. I moved back with my pops to save money and the room is so tiny. I needed this for extra space. I currently have my lights for YouTube and a small bookshelf underneath it and it has opened up my room so much! Make sure you snug everything down tightly at the end and the bed will not squeak. And of course pay attn to the directions. We accidentally installed a couple poles backwards and needed to disassemble some pieces to fix it. No big deal. I'll give this 4 stars because the steps on the ladder are a bit uncomfortable so I will likely put some padding over them. They would be much better as square steps rather than cylinder. For reference, I am 5'7" 135 lbs and there is plenty of space on the top. I can sit all the way up and not hit my head on the ceiling :)

Incorrect labels, but still a great bed

We got this bunk for our 14 year old and 9 year old sons to share. Our 14 year old is 5'7 and us sleeping on the bottom bunk with plenty of headspace! It is sturdy- I saw that other reviewers mentioned it not being sturdy but I have to wonder if they tightened the bolts well? It was a bit of a bear to put together as our parts were labeled incorrectly, but the boys and I were still able to figure it out and get it put together. It took us about 2.5 hours total. All in all it seems like a great bed- it's their first night sleeping in it so time will tell but they drifted off comfortably.

    Easy to assemble

Was super easy to assemble. I even had it delivered to my door which was on the third floor of my building :) thank you to the kind people who brought it up the stairs

    Very sturdy

This was fairly easy to assemble. The frame is very sturdy and a full size mattress fits sideways underneath snugly. Plenty of room if it's longways. Bought an HR200 from mattress firm that also fits without gaps.

So relieved to get a sturdy and non defective product!

Super simple set up, and sturdier than expected. I had hi anxiety over wether or not a metal bunk bed would rattle. This definitely is solid and does not make noise. Also, I was worried that this would slide and scuff my hardwood floors, but was pleased to find it didn't. I have 10 ft ceilings, and leaves a lot of room.

    A lot better than expected

A lot better than expected. I (140 pounds) even climb into it when changing the sheets and feel safe doing so.

    Nice and sturdy bed

Very nice and sturdy bed frame. It took a few hours to put together by myself, but it'll work great for my kids. I would have given this 5 stars, but one of the bottom legs had the holes drilled incorrectly, so I was unable to put a screw in one location. Thankfully with the entire bunk bed assembled that one missing screw doesn't affect the sturdiness or stability, since it was the screw that would hold the middle bar attaching the top bunk to the bottom. And as someone who has assembled plenty of furniture, the instructions could have been a bit clearer. Due to the unclear instructions, the top bar where the ladder attaches was assembled upside down, requiring me to undo the entire top bunk to correct the mistake. Those minor hiccups aside, I do like this bed.
