Easily installed and seems well built. We had guests for a few months and bought these for them to sleep on. Was very comfortable and easy to maneuver.
This is a nice bed and seems to be good quality for the price. It does shake a little when climbing the ladder. The rungs are narrow and tough on your feet but we put pieces of pool noodles around them which helped. My son is 6 ft. 1 and under 150 lbs. He used it in college dorm room. There is not an "entry" at the top of the ladder to the mattress (the railing goes all the way around) so you have to be ok with climbing over the railing . He put his computer desk underneath and had enough head room. Assembly does take awhile and you need to really read instructions.
Be careful not to stub your toe on the middle wheel when you're pulling the bed out. (Happens from stance used to pull out bed)
Simply to put together. I don't remember if it was a review for this product or another bed, but the plastic pieces snap in easily. No pain. You might only need one extra person just to hold up the frame while you're putting the bolts in. But you could just as soon put it across a chair to keep it level.
The wheels only move in a back and forth direction, and while using the bed I think there is enough weight that you don't have to worry about the frame moving around. Again, watch that middle wheel, your bare toes will thank me.
Seems sturdy enough. IIRC it can handle max of 250lbs.
UPDATE 2016/10/11: if anyone wants to do a daybed + trundle combo try this trundle with this bed frame (swascana 14" twin bedframe https://www..com/gp/aw/d/B01IOVEZ84/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1) I paid about $188.84 for both +/- shipping. Compare that to a complete combo.
I absolutely love this buck bed and so my daughter. I chose to assemble it myself and even thought it took me about two hours, the instructions were extremely easy to follow. It's big enought and secure enough. It delivered a day earlier than expected...I am Very happy... Thank you so much!
Arrived a day earlier then expected and in good condition. About 2 hrs to put together...all parts matched except for one...but its fine. My son loves it. He is about 60lbs and the bed is sturdy. Looks nice and frees up some room.
