My daughter loves this bed! It isn't the most sturdy piece of furniture I've ever bought but it can hold an eight year old and her friend with no issue. It took around three hours for me and my husband to put together. We bought a closet maid cube shelf to store stuff underneath and it has made my daughters room so much more organized. I would definitely buy this again for another kid.

Arrived early. All parts in box. Easy instructions. Put together by myself in 2 hours. Needed a step ladder for top screws ( I'm 5"3). You must have at least 8ft ceilings for this to fit. Mine are 8ft exactly. Very satisfied :)
This bed was exactly what we needed. I was a little worried about putting it together based on some of the other reviews but as long as you pay attention and follow the directions everything goes together perfectly. I would also not tighten anything down completely until you have all the support slats put in and the plastic tabs inserted to keep them in place. The bed itself feels very sturdy and is quiet when people move around on it. Very happy with it.
Bought this for my 5 year old daughter. She shares a very small room with her sister so we were looking for a way to make more space. This does the trick. We first set it up with their play kitchen and shelves underneath and have since rearranged to have her sisters converted crib underneath (with room to spare). It works well both ways. She loves her loft but my one complaint is the way the ladder rungs hurt your feet. Others complained about it but I figured it would be okay. My daughter doesn't seem to mind them as much as I (and her father) do. I have been meaning to look for "pipe insulator" to put around it to see if that helps but haven't done it yet.
Bought this for my 6 year old because he wanted a "bunk bed", he loves it, the only reason I rated 4 stars was I had to have my brother put anchors in the wall because I felt it was slightly wobbly, at 160lbs I feel like I could easily tip it over but for my son it works fine.
