I kinda hate this bed because I can't reach my 6 yo for last minute good night kisses and snuggles. I'm 5'8 and my eyes come up to the middle of the mattress. WAAAHHHHH. I also worry a bit about her using it as a jungle gym. That being said, she LOVES IT. Absolutely LOVES it. I'd recommend it to anyone whose child is independent and adventurous.
Very sturdy! Just make sure you pay close attention when building and don’t put the little plastic pieces in until you KNOW everything is done correctly. Comes with spare parts just incase.
So the bed is great it is really tall which is wonderful because my son's dresser and desk fit under it well. I would have given it a higher rating if some of the metal pieces were not dented. This does not impact the functionality of the bed, but it also does not look real great to have dents in it. Want to note that the paint is not chipped, so I don't think that this happened in transit but rather with the manufacturing. Leads me to believe that this could be a common issue. When I buy something new I tend to want it to look new and these dents while small take away from the overall look of the bed. Otherwise a good and sturdy bed for my teenaged boy.

This took awhile to assemble but it was easy doing so. Instructions are straight forward and easy to ready. It’s super sturdy as well
