We purchased this bed for our 6 year old. However, this is sturdy enough to hold my 200 lbs husband up there. It is a good price. If I had one complaint it would be that the bars for the ladder will hurt your feet.
Be aware that there were fiberglass particles all inside the packaging. You almost couldn't see them unless you lean in and study the inside cardboard. Otherwise it's a good sturdy product.
This bed was not easy to assemble due to the alignment of the holes being off. My husband definitely was more than qualified to assemble this loft, as he was in the Navy working on jets! Even this bed made him curse like a sailor due to the manufacturing issues. The ladder pole broke on one side just from the screw being tightened slightly. The ladder than functions hurts to climb and the bed moves when climbing into the bed. Not sure I would ever buy another loft from this brand. We are keeping it due to not wanting to ship it back... just not worth the price, hassle, or time. Hoping it will serve its purpose for a while with my kiddo.
This bed is everything we needed to get more space in my son's room. He LOVES it! He's over the Moon... It's sturdy, but a bit wiggly if not tied into the wall. It took me 1.5 hours to assemble on my own. There were only 2 points where a 2nd person is helpful to stabilize. It was easier to assemble than I thought! We are very pleased with this purchase!

So we had to downsize and I ended up having to share a room with my 12 year old daughter and she was soooo adamant that she wanted her own bed. I found this loft bed and it was perfect!!! I was able to give her her own space while still being able to keep my king bed!!! Yes a KING SIZE BED fits!!!

A little shaky but I double checked the screws and all is right ... I am 167 and it didn’t budge . I’m sure my 7 y/o will be fine :)
