My son LOVES his new bed. He thinks his room is so cool with his desk underneath. It's not as bad as I thought it would be changing the sheets. I don't like climbing on top because I feel like I'm going to break it. It does sway a little bit when adults climb up there, but it does support the weight. The only thing that I don't like is that there isn't an opening where the ladder goes up and he has to climb over the bars. Other than that, it's great. There was a small dent in the front of the bed, but it's not too noticeable.
Daughters really love it. Had previously purchased a wood bunk bed, but that lasted until the first birthday party and 5 kids jumping on it. Metal appears much stronger, assembly was a breeze. Would buy again
Assembly was involved but simple enough. The ladder hurts quite a lot on the feet when ascending/descending. I recommend adding some padding or thickness to the rungs to prevent injury/discomfort
Definitely takes 2 people to assemble but works perfect for my daughter and we didn’t lose any floor space! Only bad part is when you climb up to the top there isn’t a cut out to get onto the bed. You have to climb over the railing to get in/out.
So I originally bought this for my son, he’s 4. I didn’t read the height dimensions but once I put it together it’s way to close to the ceiling, it’s like a claustrophobic feeling. He bumped his head twice, hard. There are warning signs that under 6 should not sleep on loft beds of this height. I agree. I let him sleep in it two night but I was so scared i was gonna hear him fly off the bed in the middle of the night I literally didn’t sleep. Lol for real. I’m returning this bed. Excellent customer service from as always. I am a skinny girl & I put this whole bed together & took it down by my self and packaged the box back up to be picked up by ups to start my return.... phew! Thank god for that because I do not have a truck, & the box is hella heavy i cannot lift it even if I did have a truck. If I can assemble/disassemble you can do it too. I would not buy this type of bed frame again, but to each it’s own. It might be necessary if you are very compromised on space, like a studio. Make sure you have high ceilings. And the steps hurt really bad, btw. But overall, not bad for the price.
Our teenage son loves his new full-size loft bed! It went together very easily! It feels sturdy enough for two small or medium adults. I read the reviews about the ladder being a comfort issue when climbing and opted to buy a separate ladder with proper flat rungs.
I bought this one from , and it works perfectly: “Stromberg Carlson LA-466B Bunk Ladder-66, Black”
It sits about 1ft from the base of the bed at the bottom and latches on to the second-highest side rail. If you use this ladder, make sure to use some bicycle handlebar tape or tennis racket tape to protect the point where the ladder latches on to the bedside rail to prevent noise and metal-on-metal scraping!

Ladder is painful to use

Great product for the price
Great loft bed for the price! Detailed instructions and I was able to assemble by myself. I’m very happy with this purchase!

Tricky but good
A little difficult to put together and not quite as solid as I would like but it works well for my 7 year old!!!
Not for us
