Overall, this loft bed is exactly what it claims to be. Is it hard to put together? Well, it is a loft bed, it isnt going to be "easy". It requires some effort and teamwork to get it up and standing, but overall, simple instructions and "easy" to assemble- 5 stars.
Sturdy? Yes. I actually crawl up there still with my 9 year old so we can read for 20 minutes before bed. It does wobble some but I do not feel like it is going to tip over or give out under our combined weight of 225#. There are so many support bars underneath that really keep the mattress comfy to lay on.
Value? Worth the money in my book. Space safer. Magic maker according to my kiddo.
What I would say to consider before you buy:
-side ladder is moderately difficult for young children to climb up. 9 year old does great. 6 year old struggles a bit.
-opening at top of ladder is narrow so if anyone has wide hips, you're gunna have to wiggle some.
-metal rungs are a bit painful on small feet
I would buy it again in a heartbeat for my 9 year old. I would not buy it for a 6yo or younger.

I bought this for a preteen, who did not want workstation, bought a way better one for just a little more $ at wayfare , this one works, but i would not get on it as an adult, also not very tall underneath. I would not buy it again
I was looking for some kind of shelf to put books and an alarm clock on for my sons bunk bed and figured i would give this a try. It came in two pieces but is super easy to put together, and does not require any tools. There is a slight incline on the shelf so things would roll towards the basket, not sure if mine is bent or if that is what is intended. It seems really durable and will hold a decent amount of weight. If you have a metal bunk bed with the round rails take a look at this to see if it would fit, but i would recommend this.
We love this bed. We've had it for 2 years now, still going strong, not wobbly at all. Construction was a little time consuming but not overly difficult for 2 people. We placed our kids desks underneath and there's plenty of head space for both my husband and I when we sit there but probably not going to suit someone over 6' tall. I would definitely recommend this bed but know that it's a pain to change the sheets and if you have young kids, it's probably useful to have a step-stool for the parents to be able to give hugs goodnight. We have the IKEA BEKVAM and it's the perfect height. I'd also recommend using a 6" thick mattress with it.
The shelf came pretty damaged. It was dented in two places - one on the outer edge of the table and the other on the backside of the table where it clips onto the basket. The dents made it unusable. is sending a replacement so fingers crossed it’s not damaged yet again. The metal is very thick and durable and our box wasn’t dented so it’s almost as if it was sent damaged straight from production. Besides the damage, the item appears to be as described and functional. My son has a loft bed with rounded rails to this was a good fit.
My 11 year old loves her new loft bed. This has allowed for extra room in her bedroom and a special reading place under the bed. It is sturdy and I would recommend it.

Excellent Bunk Night Stand

Actually pretty sturdy
Went together easy, kinda have to have the bolts fairly loose until you get them all started then just start tightening them.

Kinda liked the open bottom so we could put a dresser and what not under the bed. Freed up the room a little.
