Purchased this for my 12 year old son. He now has more space in his bed room as we moved his desk underneath. It was easy to put together and has held up to many sleepovers. A normal size futon also fits underneath giving you many options for room design and decor.
This item shipped and arrived within two days of purchase. I had originally ordered it from wal-Mart as it was less expenses but would take several weeks to arrive. price went down, I cancelled my other order and this arrived yesterday. My husband followed the directions and put it together last night. Our boys are very excited and slept on the top bunk last night. The futon will arrive today. It took some time to put together, but he was able to follow the directions and finish it after work last night. It’s of good quality, and definitely a space saver for the smaller bedroom in our home. Now my boys can have friends spend the night and spend more time in their bedroom. Thus far we are very happy with this purchase.
My 15 yo and I put the bed together ourselves. It was very easy. He agrees that the ladder is tough on feet so I bought the tubing. That works. Yes, a bit wobbly initially; however he was soon over that.
A bigger bed than his former twin, my son is enjoying the new bigger size as well as the nook underneath. It’s a nice layout for him. Cozy and practical.
One side with the ladders has to stay against a wall because it didn’t align properly no matter what we did. It was simply defective. But the other side is fine.

Nice bed for my 12 year old. My husband put it together pretty quickly. We added an basics mattress with ours and it fit perfect.
