Writing reviews isnt something I do and ordered this with reservations due to other reviews. The color gray is nice and the unit is plush. The packaging was secure and neat. I am 5 ft. tall, 73 year female with arthritis. After inventorying all parts and no damage, I put the items together myself, while watching NCIS. All in all, with that and a phone call, about an hour. In order to put both chair parts together, I placed one part on my sofa, upside down, and put the other part on top. Easier then trying to do it on the floor. Everything lined up well. The chair is a bit low and I may add a round piece of wood on both items to bring height up. This set may not work for a taller person. but it is okay for me. Very comfortable to sit in. Looks good and the arm rests are comfortable when holding a book. This one was perfect
Just put the chair together.
On the plus side:
Very easy to assemble
Very cushy/comfortable (soft fabric, supportive but nicely squishy padding)
On the minus:
The picture looked much more like a royal blue on my screen, but its actually more of a peacock blue. (Fortunately it still works well for this room.)
There are large white zigzag stitches on the back that I hate. (Fortunately, not terribly visible in the front.)
The chair is weirdly low. Like, so low I thought Id read the directions wrong or something. Nope. its really that low.
All in all I like it and Ill keep it, but not what I thought I was getting. Very sturdy and durable
Move comfortable but check that all buttons are sewed on correctly not worth sending back to get fixed I like the sturdiness and comfort of this product.
This chair and stool set is so beautiful and comfortable. Set up wasnt much to do but to screw the legs on. It comes with a pillow as well. The fabric is of great quality and the seat is firm but not too firm hoping it stays this way and dont sag. Perfect for us
This chair is perfect for a reading corner In a bedroom. Its easy to assemble and sturdy. This is a good deal for the price. Looks elegant yet cozy all at the same time. Well made. Good price.
Bought this for my parents at their request. Chair is very nice but my Moms biggest complaint was the ottoman was way to small for the scale of the chair. The chair was nice though so she is looking for a bigger ottoman to swap out potentially. Great packaging and arrived to a decent hour. Dad says Easy to assemble and he only curse once while doing it XD Sounds like more of a 4/5 to me but my Mom rated it a 3/5 so thats what it gets. That was a problem!!
The backleg hole on rt was loose and screw holes didnt line up. i had to pull the leg out significantly to reach the screw holes. and now a leg is 0.75 inches from the ground. Customer service gives one suggestion or question at a time. I had to send 20 photos (1 at a time) through the app. Despite seeing th backleg doesnt sit properly and i used the predrilled holes in the chiar.they had me take it apart screw it together. Now they are having ME measure all the pieces. This service method has basically delayed me getting a usable product for weeks. Never in my life. even if this is the new way to sell furniture (sarcasm) then ask for everything you miight need in message no. 1 not 12. Dont ask someone with arthritis to take the dang thing apart repeatedly. Wont make this mistake again. Give me a refund and pick up your useless tripod cat bed. I will order the same design from Target. If have nothing better to do and dont mind the run around from this company then maybe this tripod is perfect for you.
UPDATE: I finally got a new chair and it works well. I just have to get rid of the defective one now. They did issue a small discount for all the time and headache. Would rather have my time back, but until I learn to time travel I guess I have to take what the universe gives me. And my cat loves the chair. It belongs to him now, so I guess if hes happy. Its not bad its just not great.
