My 12 year old daughter loves it! I installed it by myself in about 45 minutes. Theres only two things I dont like. They tell you to install the blades after you hang the motor, dont do that. Install them before to prevent your back from killing you. And the light is not very bright from the factory. Just install an LED bulb and youre good to go. Great product otherwise!
Extremely easy to assemble and whisper quiet! Anyone complaining about noise from this fan must not have it balanced properly, because it doesnt make ANY noise whatsoever. Surprisingly sturdy for the price. It took longer to disassemble the old fan then it did to put up the new one.
The light is definitely soft, but I dont use the overhead lighting to light up the whole room, I have floor lamps for that. If youre concerned about brightness I would definitely recommend purchasing a brighter bulb. Aside from that...buy this fan today, you WONT be disappointed!!
It may have just been my experience, but beware of the pre-installed screws that you eventually have to unfasten to install the fan blades. The screws were so tight I had to spend extra money on an impact driver just to get them out and even then two would not budge. Some WD-40 and and a needle-nosed vice grip later and I was finally able to get them out. I would suggest unfastening the screws before you put the fan into the ceiling, this will give you better leverage at least. I was disappointed at the end because I ended up paying more for the tools to get these screws free than what I actually spent on the fan itself! Bah.
I had an electrician come and do several installations and this was one of them. It was simple and straightforward. The fan itself is very sleek looking and super quiet... Better than expected. Im very happy with the purchase.

Simple to assemble
Bought these fans as a way to try and cool down my garage which was decent price and easy to assemble.
