I got the 100watt equivalent LED bulbs in them. The 60 watt ones were too dim. The fan works good, not too noisy, easy installation. Look good on the ceilings. fair value for sure.
This ceiling fan is very close to the ceiling unlike the old one I replaced. I also used the old remote control on the new one and there was plenty of space to hide the fan unit. It works perfectly and so quiet you cant hear it. It doesnt weigh much so it really doesnt need the special heavy duty fan bracing. Very satisfied with this purchase.
This fan is great looking and pretty easy to install. But seriously, who designs a 52 fan that only holds ONE LIGHTBULB!!?? I didnt even think of such an issue since pretty much every ceiling fan Ive ever seen in my entire life holds two bulbs! Even a 28 fan I just got for a different room holds 2 bulbs. A 52 fan is intended for a decent sized room that is going to need light! Now I have to spend money on floor lamps. UGH!
Other than that serious design flaw, the rest of the functionality seems great. I do like that the pull chains tell you which is the speed and which is the light.

It doesnt dim, at least not with the dimmer switch I had with the ceiling light previously. There is no remote, probably mentioned in the description but i assumed all fans these days came with remotes, at least the higher quality ones. I was hoping to put Philips hue color changing bulb in but the bulb the fan came with is a small bulb, if I could get feedback on the Philips Hue color changing compatibility and if yes what bulb to buy that would be great.

Very easy to install and great value for such a low price. Definitely want to follow the directions step by step. Easy to miss small pieces. Really good quality for the price!
