This sofa is very vintage modern style. It fits well with my midmod deco. It was packaged well. The sofa is firm, but comfortable. It was a little hard to get the brackets on the lower half of the sofa to line up to install the back of the sofa. The piece of wood that sticks up to hold one of the brackets seems a little flimsy.
Love love love love this couch!!!! The ash black is actually a charcoal grey, its beautiful. I put it together myself in about 30 mins. Its for our sitting room but weve actually gravitated towards it a lot since we got it! its firm in a good way, good nap couch. Thus far, very durable in terms of dogs jumping on and off, fur dusts right off. Was nervous about buying furniture online but I am 100% pleased so far
Based on the other reviews I expected it to be darker than the picture, but the color (ash black) is very true to the listing photos.
It was very easy to put together, the delivery process was smooth, and so far I am very pleased with the purchase!

Im glad I did! It took awhile to arrive, but thats the sign of the times I think. The color is definitely NOT the dark Teal thats shown in the Product Description - its a lovely light Aqua color. WHY oh why did they include the ugly Navy Blue and White throw pillows I will never understand! They do not match at all (but look great on my outdoor settee!). Assembly was not difficult, but the corner piece that came pre-assembled doesnt exactly line up with the other back pieces - not a big deal to me because its against a wall and makes it feel a bit more Mid Century authentic. The woven fabric is nice, I recommend spraying it down with Scotch Guard immediately. Seems to hold up to my 70lb dog pretty well. The cushions are firm and supportive, so if youre looking for a sofa to sink into - this is not the one. Overall, love it and so happy I made the purchase.
I am very happy with this sofa, which I have had for six or seven weeks now. It looks great, if you like the style. The sofa is pretty firm but it is still quite comfortable. Mine is in the charcoal gray color and every little light colored bit of debris is very apparent, so much so that I would not at all recommend it for someone with furred or feathered pets. The upholstery material also feels like it would succumb to the attentions of a cats claws pretty quickly, but for my purposes it has worked out fine so far. Considering that I paid under $700.00, before tax makes me like it even more.
Very sturdy couch! At first it was really too firm but we have had it 2 months and I love it now!! Pet hair doesnt stick too bad and it is a great couch for naps!
I wish the back was alittle taller but other then that no complaints! Worth the money!
Easy and quick assembly, exactly what I was looking for in a couch. Very firm (which is what I was looking for as our last couch was too soft) and back slats DONT settle in evenly but not too big of a deal

Id give this couch one star, but its getting three stars because it looks great, was easy to assemble, and seems very sturdy. Unfortunately, it it the most uncomfortable couch I have ever sat on. The back is pretty hard (which I dont mind so much) but the seat cushions are crazy firm - its like sitting on a park bench. Ive had several sofas (we have destructive pets, so sofas get replaced every few years) some have been more expensive than this one, some have been less expensive, but this one is, by far, the least comfortable. Unfortunately, its not easy finding an L shape sectional that seats at least five without that weird backless part at one end. If this one has softer/less firm cushions, itd be perfect....alas, it does not.
