Love the bed. Its not perfect, but for the price, you cant beat it. With any loft bed, anchor it to the wall, IN A STUD. I personally dont trust the strength of drywall or plaster with anything more than hanging a picture. I built two cleats, (simple plywood), anchored those to studs, and anchored the bed to the cleats, as youll never perfectly align the bed posts with studs. (see pics) Bed is sturdy on its own as well. Good quality, great instructions with very clear labeling. Few minor fit finish issues (see pictures) but nothing I didnt deem acceptable for the price point. Would buy again without hesitation. EDIT: The picture shows the bed with a BedInABox Original twin mattress. Exceeded my expectations
Product arrived in a timely matter. Was in 2 heavy boxes. Took quite some time to assemble, but is a very nice bed! Our 7 year old really likes it! Good product for its value
Bed is wobbly and you definitely have to be a bit careful with it once assembled. Have to make sure the kids are aware there is absolutely no playing on it. We are going to screw some extra thicker pieces of wood to the legs to make it move around less. Other than that the bed is nice looking and the design/ layout is good. Its not bad its just not great.
We cant finish the assembly because were missing the 30mm bolts labeled 7. Had to skip part of step 8 and cannot move past step 11 due to this lack of hardware. Were also missing the mattress supports labeled X1. Its not in either box. Another thing, I am reading that most other buyers received 3 boxes, but we received only 2. The boxes are labeled 1 of 2 and 2 of 2, it is possible that the packaging was updated to only need 2 containers. Ive contacted the seller and am awaiting response.
Overall the bed is very easy to assemble, it looks lovely, and I am still excited and hopeful that my daughter will get to use her bed sometime soon. For the moment, though, shes got nowhere to sleep.
Update: the seller is extremely responsive! Responded same day I contacted them. Theyve reshipped the entire hardware packet required for assembly. I can move on a little further, but still have not received the mattress support slats that are supposed to be included. Ive reached out again and await their response. 1 star increased to 2.
Edited: the seller resent the entire box of pieces to replace the support slats, X1. The box arrived 1 day after the hardware and the bed will be completed today. Updated review to 5 stars. I would recommend them, if you have a problem theyre extremely responsive and theyve made it right for me without further charge. I was so excited to use it
My dad and I built this bed in about 2/3 hours just the two of us. I was a little worried because of the reviews, but the instructions couldnt have been more clear. It came in two boxes (arrived separately) and each box had a set of instructions. Which seems silly but came in handy. I do want to mention that the customer service was outstanding with response time and answering any questions I had! I would buy from this vendor again! Most importantly, my 6 year old LOVES it! Shes had it for just over a week It is ok for the use.
The product looks pretty. But the wood is thin. It will not support the weight of an adult. It will require being bolted to the wall for stabilization. But the wood is so soft that the bolts will split the wood. It is poor quality.Needs improvement in quality.
Im literally in LOVE with this bed. My dad and I put it together in 4 hours, but we had a very fun time. It was easy to put together. The shelves were a little confusing but we got them put together right. The only thing Im concerned with is the wood panels under the bed breaking because theyre a little thin. If they were a little thicker and wider Id feel safer. Best quality product
