I am a large person 66 tall and about 350 lbs I bought the chair because it said it could hold the weight and it does. It went together easy and looks very nice, I bought it as a reading chair for my new office in my home, now that we are all doing that thing. My wife offices out of the house as well and whenever she comes to visit me in my office she always heads for this chair.
The footstool arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. It is very sturdy and looks nice in my living room. I bought the fabric one because I thought it would be softer than the faux leather, but it is still very firm. I think I will like it, though.
