This is a well built, sturdy, heavy piece of furniture. You can definitely tell it is made of MDF, but the appearance and solidness makes it doable. I would have given 5 stars, but the way it arrived had me a little nervous on whether or not I would have to return it. First of all, the box was damaged upon arrival. I opened the box, and it looked the the protective styrofoam had exploded or possibly melted. It was stuck to the pieces in different places. I had to scrape it off. Also, a couple of the pieces were damaged and I honestly couldnt tell if it was the styrofoam, or if the veneer had chipped off in a couple of places. Luckily I had some wood markers and was able to touch up the spots and it looks good, but not the best. You would have to look very hard to find the imperfections.
Putting it together was no problem, you just have to take your time and read and assemble as you go. Its like wood cutting, measure twice, cut once. Read the instructions twice (or more) and go along as they suggest.

this item is extremely difficult to assemble. Once put together you will find that the hole where the handles suppose to go are too small. I love but I will never purchase furniture from them again

The company is very responsive. If your shipment is damaged, get it replaced. If parts are missing, they will send to you right away. only one screw was missing. Went together as I expected. Just go slow. It is very heavy when finished, which can be a boon because it will settle down the carpet. If it appears to not be true and drawers look crooked, its the frame itself. Be sure the floor underneath is level, or put shims under feet where you need to level it.
This is pretty well done need to assemble furniture. Lots of pieces but if you have patience and time, it easily went together. The box is heavy when delivered!! Take note when purchasing. We bought it to put inside a closet and it did the job perfectly. It holds a lot more than it looks and it is pretty cute. Too bad we have it in a closet.

I think Im being generous with a three star overall review, and here it why. Its not to discourage people. Ive looked at other peoples reviews, and I assume that I just got a faulty product.
Two button drawers had to be adjusted (grooves did not match side boards).
The upper drawer was a disaster to adjust. Its fair to say I had to build it from the ground up. No part matched another part. I am not even going list the issues. Complete mismatch.
I am lucky to have a full set of tools and spare parts (including electrical) to make adjustments.
Some parts were paint unfinished, so I had to mark those up.
Overall I spent 6 hours.
Im sorry to say, but I had a bad experience with this product.
A word of consolation, after Im done with it, it looks very nice.
I thought being a cheap option to a dresser that this would be weak particle board and not very sturdy. Its actually pretty heavy, easy to assemble, and great quality. You definitely get more than your moneys worth with this. Plus it looks beautiful. If I need to get another dresser soon, Im buying another one of these.
It has been a while since I assembled furniture, but I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of assembly. The assembly did take about two hours, but was easy and enjoyable. Directions were easy to follow and all the various components were easily recognizable.
The quality for the price was also a surprise. The manufacturers design included additional support for the bottom of the drawers and all of the necessary hardware was complete. The furniture was heavy and felt substantial when finished, not like the usual fiberboard furniture from discount stores.
There was a slight odor to the materials; however, it disappeared after a day. Allowing the pieces to air in a protected space like a garage would abate the smell prior to construction.
If we should have a need for additional pieces, I would not hesitate to order more.

Tall and Narrow, perfect for closets etc

It needed someone to assemble as I did not have the tools or time. Holds a lot of clothes. Good Appearance.

Deep drawers hold a lot of clothes.
Assembly took longer than some other furniture I have put together. But the final results were great.
