The look of this platform bed is great, and the build was incredibly simple. The included tools were plenty good enough, although I did prefer to use my own ratchet and allen head driver over the key included.
The fit and finish was very good, although the instructions could have been a bit better when it came to where to position the headboard - initially the instructions had it placed far too high. That was easily rectified though and its perfectly aligned now with the 10 mattress in a box we chose. The wooden slats are a bit weak and Im worried they will sag easily; I would have rather seen a couple metal tie-ins in addition to the wood for longevity.
So, I bought this thinking it would be cute for my new mattress. Putting it together wasnt too bad. But when I put the middle bar in the hole where the screw goes in smack dab in the middle broke so the screw doesnt fit anymore bc the hole is too big. So I had to buy a washer so it would stay in place. The sides do not stay in place so the middle bar just keeps moving sideways. Also the clip that keeps the leg together keeps falling out. I emailed them for replacing the part. Which I think they only work in the middle of the night or different part of the country. I just want a replacement part! So now I have to figure out how to rig this bed to make it stay put and hopefully doesnt break anymore.

I do not believe I need to explain the problem with that and the bed is my 5-year-old sons, the funny part is he is angrier than I am. We figured it out in the long run, but better warehouse accountability might be in order.
