This product was almost perfect. It took 2 weeks to get here. My only complaint: the hard ware was busted open and all over the box I was missing a couple of the screws but luckily I had extra from a different product. Instructions arent to bad took about 45 minutes to put together!
Cant beat the price , lots of parts to assemble , included easy instructions. happy with the end product . Its a tiny bit longer than my bed leaving a small gap between mattress and footboard I wondered why that was but not a problem .
This bed frame is solidly built with a heavy-duty steel frame. It looks like it can hold a 300-pound body, and it will last for a long time. It does not need a spring box, it is well supported by all-metal bars. It looks good and durable.
Installation is pretty easy with the easy-to-understand illustrated instruction.
But the only problem is one of the screws is defective. It can't be screwed in. Therefore I have to use another
replacement screw to secure the headboard frame.
The bed is easy to assemble and the instructions are very clear and straightforward. Its exactly what it looks like. The seller ships this product in super quick time. I received this bed in 2 days and on accurate address. This product is much better than what I ordered from wayfair.
We decided to upgrade to a California King bed from a Queen as a present to ourselves this Christmas. Since we were changing bed size, we needed new everything. I wanted to get a decent bed frame, but didn't want to spend a fortune.
We previously had a Zinus frame with 14 storage underneath, which was very convenient for storage, and I knew I wanted to be able to keep storing the same tubs underneath. I also wanted something with a built-in headboard so I could lean back without pushing the bed away from the wall. According to the specs on the page, this should have checked all the boxes and so I ordered it.
Unfortunately, after spending 1.5 hours or so assembling it I double checked the height because it looked suspiciously short and it is actually only 12 of storage space underneath! My storage boxes are all about 13 tall, so they won't fit. The advertisement for this bed is very, very clear about it having 14 of storage space, so I was quite disappointed to find out it was a lie. If it wasn't so hard to take apart (I'm not actually sure it will even come apart) I would likely choose to return it and get one that actually has 14 of space.
In addition to the storage space underneath being shorter than advertised, be aware that the slats are over 7 apart. I've never seen a memory foam bed that didn't require at 5 or less between slats. My new bed - a Zoma - requires 3 maximum between slats. Having more distance between slats voids the warranty. I was pretty sure from the pics that it would be insufficient, but I was surprised at just how far apart the slats are and want to make sure that anyone else considering this realizes they probably either need to put plywood under the mattress like I did or use a box spring in order to give sufficient support.
Assuming you don't care about the storage or the slat spacing, this does seem to be a pretty sturdy bed. I've only slept on it for one night, but it is quiet and feels solid. It was a pain in the butt to put together, but mostly because I did it by myself - two people would have been easier. Also, a few screws were extremely tight fits and required exceptional force to tighten - and I'm not sure I could ever get them back out again. The wood looks decent from a distance but is definitely cheap fake wood. You could upgrade it with real wood fairly easily though I think. For the price though, this all is about what I'd expect.
If it weren't for the false advertising concerning the height under the bed, I would have given this a higher rating. For the price I think it is a pretty good bed, but just be aware that if the storage space sells you on it like it did me, you'll be quite disappointed. I'm going to have to buy 8 bed risers just so I can put my tubs back underneath, and they're going to look ugly and prevent the bed from being pushed all the way against the wall like I'd prefer.
Good for the most part, with an exceptionally easy assembly. But the frame arrived with some scratches in the black power coated finish, and some of the parts required brute force in order to make them fit.
Furthermore, the entire bed frame 'folds' in the middle. This makes it easier to assemble, but it also means lifting one end of the frame to move it doesn't work. So its a tradeoff and kinda awkward I guess.
Lastly, I'm using this bed frame with my 13 Nectar Premier Twin XL Gel Memory Foam mattress, which doesn't cooperate with the metal tabs on the bed frame that are designed to keep the mattress from sliding around. Instead, the metal tabs just end up getting 'swallowed' by the memory foam mattress and rendered completely useless. I'd imagine this is the case with any memory foam mattress. Ultimately its not the best implementation for keeping the mattress in place. Luckily my mattress doesn't slide around too much, but its worth keeping in mind if you plan to toss some memory foam on top of this frame.
The wood panel in the headboard looks flat out cheap with its fake wood veneer. I plan on painting it black because it looks awful.
But for the price and ease of assembly, this isn't a bad choice just as long as you're aware of its shortcomings.

Good bed frame but squeaky at times
Good bang for your buck but gets squeaky over time especially when resting on carpet.
Solidly built.

NOT 14 of storage space!
