I was hesitant to order a recliner online without trying it first but for the price of this recliner I did it. I was very excited when it arrived two days later in a large box. I was able to bring the box into the house by myself without significant difficulty and had no trouble placing feet on recliner and back of chair on. It is comfortable and is easy to recline. Perfect for a reading chair. I can see how this chair would not work for taller people though. However, I am 54 and it fits me perfectly! Only thing that annoys me is two days after I placed order the price of the chair was reduced from $360 to $299…
This is a beautiful chair. Im tiny (under 5 ft and under 100 pounds) and I was able to assembly by myself. I gave it four stars because its really hard to push back (maybe that will ease with use) and the angle is not the most comfortable. But Im pleased with the purchase. (This, as noted, is not a chair for a big person.)
Very firm padding. Madebfor shorter people. I'm 5'5 and it's a little shorter than I would like but not a deal breaker. All in all not a bad little chair for the money.
