Its a good daybed. The wood is whiskered but that doesnt bother me. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is evause it came with two wooden plugs but its nothing a quick trip to Home Depot wont fix. Either way I was able to build it without those two parts and it is fine. Sturdy and not shakey. Assembly was easy if you can simply follow instructions. I am happy with my purchase and would buy it again. You get what you pay for. I would recommend.
The daybed was delivered on time. I did not put it together, but the person that completed the task had no problems putting it together. It is sturdy and fit well in the space. The only thing I would change is that hardware is shiny, gold and are visible in some places where it would have been nice to have them covered or not as noticeable. Except for my pets sleeping on the daybed, we havent had a human use it yet. I think it will make great extra sleeping accommodations for guests. Better than I expected!
Nice overall. One pilot hole was way off, a bit of bowing in the rear planks made assembly difficult. But it looks nice, and so far, is solid. There are numbered stickers for the pieces, that were difficult to remove... And the wood is whiskered. So solid, but not? A picture of that attatched. Just buy it!!!
Very sturdy easy to assemble. The screws were difficult until I coated them with regular bath soap, a trick I learned from my Dad.

This is a great looking bed with quality construction. Would blend well many decorating styles. I moved to a studio and this worked out perfectly. Delivered in a few days. my kids love it
Annettes husband, chiming in here: This was not an easy assembly. The pre-drilled holes for the slats were too small and too shallow, making for an extremely difficult time getting the wood screws in. If you have the right power tools you may have an easier time--but then, you really shouldnt need power tools to put something like this together. Side note: the numbered stickers identifying each piece are stuck directly on the surface of the wood, and are not the kind that easily peel off. I had to scrape them off, trying to be careful not to scratch the wood. Ill probably need to attack them with some kind of solvent to get the residue off. Extremely difficult to assemble
It is amazingly good bed. Elegant, sturdy and very comfortable. Actually I was thinking of buying another one but they were already out of stock. Overall we are happy!

I really like this daybed frame! 1 of the slats arrived broken so that is a problem. If youre trying to decide- buy it.
Coat the screws in bath soap when assembling.
