I feel like I threw away my familys money

I work from home now so I decided to buy a better chair. I specifically looked for a big and tall with a capacity that would be ok for me. I did not want a fancy chair, just a sturdy one for working. Within a few months, the pole that connects the chair to the wheels started to get loose, then the mechanisms for engaging the recline in the bottom and back started to just suddenly POP and fall to 0, now the chair does so much harm to my back day to day by making me sit on what is essentially a crooked and shifting surface that I clock out in pain. I wanted to find a way to return it to find the company only takes returns within 30 days. Since it has been 6 months I will simply say goodbye to my money and write a low review so others may avoid this chair that will more than likely let you down.

    After 6 months...

The rod that the seat attaches to isnt properly secured. You have to balance yourself on the seat because the entire seat cushion moves everytime you move. It was very comfortable when we initially purchased and assembled. But 6 months later, youre constantly trying to prevent yourself from falling off.

    Very comfortable for big people.

The chair is super easy to assemble, it took me only 15-20 minutes. Its super comfortable and it provides great back support. As for the big and tall aspect of the chair Im 61 310 and it feels amazing. Definitely would recommend this chair for bigger people.

    Big, sturdy, basic.

There isnt the ability to adjust much. Up down yes, but not tilt of seat, nor backrest distance from seat. Would have rather put another $50 on an adjustable and adaptable chair. Expensive for not being able to have those basic tweaks. Super comfy seat, but after a couple hours, you really need that ability to adjust some minor things. Would have liked to see the backrest move back away from seat a couple inches or have tilt option for the front of the seat to move up a little more. Its like Im going to fall out of this big chair because Im tilting forward. Other than that falling feeling, this is a solid, sturdy, big butt chair. I can curl my legs up in it and sit crisscross. My partner 65 and solid, can sit high with knees at a 90 def angle, so for that worth it!

    Most uncomfortable office chair ever

I rarely write reviews, but this chair has caused lower back pain since I purchased it. It says its rated for 500 pounds (Im 400), yet it feels flimsy. The seat pan, while wide enough, is curved in a manner that causes pressure points. The seat depth is way too shallow and there is no adjustment. It constantly feels like its trying to slide you forward out of the chair. This is the last chair I buy sight unseen. Im going to try out Steelcase chairs. The number of cheap $200 and $300 chairs Ive bought to save money is ridiculous. I could have simply purchased a good task chair for around $1000 and actually saved money by not having to constantly replace crap that breaks or causes significant pain.

Decent chair for the price point

Support: The chair actually offers pretty solid lower back support and posture control. There are no adjustments for it but the default orientation is well positioned. Comfort: I would call the comfort level of this chair average. I believe the advertising stated this was a 24/7 or extended period chair, it is not. After maybe two hours you will start to feel it in your tail bone. Not severe but you will get to shifting, Cushions tend to wear with time so expect that will get worse over the months/years. Though there are always seat cushions to shore up this area and they will be much more cost effective than spending another couple hundred dollars on a similar, more feature complete chair. Ease of assembly: Most chairs are relatively easy to put together as they all conform to a similar design. This one was pretty easy, well labeled screws and the like, easy to follow instructions and everything you need is in the box. Some of the screw holes gave me minor trouble getting the screws to go in at the proper angle but no substantial issues. The one issue Ive seen in other reviews that I noticed immediately as well is the seat depth on this chair. This chair only has two adjustments, the up and down height of the chair and a locked and unlocked (slight recline) of the seat back. With the seat back in its locked/upright position it gives the feeling that youre sitting to far forward in the seat, it does not support enough of the thigh and simply feels unnatural. It is something I noticed immediately after sitting down. Its not so bad it makes the chair impossible to use but it will take some adjusting to if you plan to keep the chair. Now I will say in this position the back support feels great. One positive here is you can unlock the seat back and it will have a slight recline, I found in this position the seat depth issue feels a little less cumbersome and made the chair as a whole a lot more tolerable for me. I guess if youre a child or have shorter than average legs the seat depth thing might be less of a problem. This particular thing is not a weight issue either, big or small this will be a thing.

Took a Chance - Love the Chair

I bought this chair on a whim back in Feb. 2021. I am 61, approx 280lb, but have had horrible luck with chairs rated around 300. They never hold up. So, I waited until now (end of Aug. 2021) to leave my review, as the long term durability is what matters when Im spending good money on a daily use chair. My previous leather executive chair had seen better days and it was (already) time to replace. I received the contents as expected and in good condition with no scratches, stains, etc. All functionality was as described and expected. The pneumatic has held flawlessly and the tilt-lock works great, but it does take a little time to get the hang of. I quite like it. I have found it quite comfortable. I can understand some people saying it feels like it tilts them too far forward, which a slight adjustment to the seat lock point remedied for me. I took a chance on (a sparingly reviewed product when I bought it), and Im glad I did. Great product.
