We got the bed in lighting speed, several days earlier than expected. Yay! Overall its a decent bed, it was easy to put together. Had it up in just a few hours. The paint job could have been better - but after chatting with the brand and sending a few pictures we were able to sort it out. Instead of taking the whole thing down and returning it, we settled on a partial refund, and well just repaint it ourselves. The construction was fine - its a little less sturdy since its actually two pieces rather than one bed that is connected - so just be sure to anchor this to the wall (and make sure to anchor the bed to the studs... drywall screws and kids are not going to cut it). For the price, its a decent bed., and it looks great in a smaller room. If you want something more solid, be prepared to spend a little more though.
Assembly was not a problem for me. Its the condition. Theres a lot of cracks and dents all throughout. But of course, return would be very hard. Not as sturdy as I thought it would be.
Pretty straightforward to put together but not a 1 person operation. Top bunk and steps creak and wobble enough to earn 3 Stars instead of more. My kids love the bed and the size fits them well, but dont expect to put an adult in the top bunk.
This is a great bedroom set! The only issue with it is that is is pretty difficult to assemble. Im a carpenter and cabinet maker and assembling this thing took me about four hours. Im other than that its very sturdy and my son loves it.
Bought this bed to replace another style twin over full that we had. Whilst the draws are not the customary draws but more like cubicles we bought flexible storage boxes to store the clothes in in the space The full bed stands alone and the bunk sits over it so the full can be used in another location and a desk could be placed under the bunk bed etc. We also see the room with more space due to the design of this bunk. The fact that the bunk stands alone it rocks but is not unstable. I would recommend this bed to anyone. My daughters are ages 13 and 9.
