We received this item without the screws that attach the horizontal bar to the vertical bars. The handles are a safety feature (especially for young kids). I consider this to be a significant defect, but I didnt realize it until everything else was set up, at which point I didnt want to repack everything for a return. In hindsight, the bag the trampoline was in had a large hole, so it was most likely a return for the same issue (and a quality control problem on the sellers part, or s). offered us a credit but couldnt get us in touch with the seller. Disappointing. It seems like it should be a simple thing to contact the manufacturer and get the correct screws. Hopefully I can find the correct size at a hardware store. Otherwise the trampoline seems fine so far. Easy to set up aside from the missing pieces. Perfect size for our space. Hopefully it will last.
I read so many reviews on trampolines before buying this one. I was searching for a trampoline not only my 3 yr old could use but also my 8 12 yr old as well. Or me! It ticks all those boxes, sturdy, well made. Easy to assemble has held up in a household of 3 boys this last month! I think it will last, worth the money, no complaints!
Directions arent great, but okay. One of the parts that is supposed to secure the grab bar onto its frame was bent upon arrival and so is not fully secure, but is workable. Legs arent all totally level, so its a tiny bit wobbly until your full weight is on the trampoline. For 80, not bad, but not as impressive as Id expected based on all of the 5 star reviews. But my kids are worn out from jumping and no ones been injured, so Im pretty happy.
Keep in mind that the springs take up almost half of the advertised circumference. This 40 trampoline only has 25 of bouncing space. The handle comes with bolts and locking nuts that must be removed with a tool in order to remove. Mine only came with 3 bolts and is very wobbly when I try to use it. UPDATE: Company gave me a 5 refund for the missing parts.
I am hoping this low impact exercise works for my bad knee. There are lots of fun routines on youtube.
I did not rate for durability because I just got it.
Con: The leg holes are cut wrong in the spring cover. The cover barely covers the springs, but hopefully it will stretch a little over time. The assembly instructions are terrible small dark pictures, no written instructions, hardware in pictures is different from what came with my trampoline. No storage bag.
Pro: Sturdy, very quiet.
Im 60 years old and just started trampoline exercise. Im glad I chose this one with handle bar.
I can easily grab it when loosing a balance. Feel so secure and safe.
Strongly recommend this product.
