Cutest little twin size bed! Absolutely great product and beautiful color! Easy to put together although it takes about an hour. Its sturdy and makes no squeaking noises!
Pros:
- Setup was relatively easy, though there are some portions where the instructions could be clearer.
- From top down, quite sturdy.
- I'm about 300lbs, and the wood slabs in combination with the outer frame seem to hold quite well.
Cons:
- Would like more bracing on some of pieces that use bolts to connect. Similar to many other products I've seen, if you tighten it enough to prevent it from squeaking or screws loosening themselves, the metal starts to bend fairly quick near the bolt.
- Similarly, if attaching a headboard, be prepared for the same. There is even less support on the back pieces where a headboard can be attached, and just tightening enough to prevent from squeaking, it buckles even easier than the other part mentioned above.
After moving states, I struggled to find a suitable bed frame that wasn't expensive. I like the style of this one and the price was nearly unbeatable. The frame was super easy to assemble, and my king mattress fits on it perfectly. highly recommend to anyone looking for a simple, quality bed frame.
We ordered two of these, a full for my mother-in-law and a queen for my husband and I. My husband had the honor of assembling both, and he was super impressed by how easy they were to put together, and said they were very well thought out and well-made. He's a machinist and fabricator by trade, so he knows quality compared to cheap junk! I have to say that these are super solid and sturdy! My husband and I don't even have our actual mattress yet because we just moved, so we laid some thick blankets on the platform and put our air mattress on it for the time being. Still very comfortable!
I was able to assemble this by myself in about 30 minutes. The instructions aren't great; the parts that they reference in the instructions do not have the same letters in the kit. But you can figure out by common sense which parts go where. We just got it today, so I do not have complaints about sturdiness or noise at this point; it seems solid. My one complaint about assembly is that I did not receive the pads to go around or under the legs of the bed. It's easy to stub a toe on a new bed.
